Pretty good overall. I just feel like they should have maybe toned down the flashbacks just a little bit. I especially liked the part where we had a flashback within a flashback. Also, the animation looked weird at times. This was especially apparent with Haku during the flashbacks. He just looked weird. It also seems like they are streamlinig the storyline for the anime. I noticed that we didn't get that short intermission with Jugo and Suigetsu, but I suppose this is probably to get the chapters to fit within a 23 minute time slot, which would also explain all the flashbacks. Also, having both flashbacks and multiple brief glimpses of other storylines all mashed together would probably just make the story way too heavy handed.
