Well that's part of Team Vinsmoke. Saying you're not with either side but "Sanji deserves this" doesn't exclude what happened to Sanji as a kid. During Whole Cake, we've seen the present and past. Both something Sanji doesn't deserve to go through unless he was some kind of monster who did more than be a pervert. Last time I checked, a whole lot of guys peeked on Nami while she was showering with Vivi. Luffy gets the pass because Oda said he was only doing it to goof off with Usopp. Whatever Sanji deserves for being a pervert, he more than made up for by treating the girls he perverts on like queens. Females can't get enough of a guy who can cook. Hence why every main or supporting female in the series likes Sanji. Excluding girls like Bonney who haven't been around him for a few minutes.

 

I know he didn't mean it "that way." He just dislikes one of the better characters in the series for bad reasons.

 

What? Sanji's past is entirely irrelevant to what Leo said. He was specifically talking about him getting crushed by Pudding. Comparing Sanji to Luffy is stupid. Sanji has tried to peek on women on multiple occasions, none of whom actually allow him to or want him to. Nami responds negatively to every single one of his advances and perversions. There's no "he more than makes up for it", because it shouldn't ever happen anyway. We can actually argue that Sanji sexually assaulted Nami on PH, you do realize that right? 

 

Sanji being kind doesn't make up for the fact that he is a pervert and a womanizer, and makes unwanted advances on every woman he sees. Not only that, but he treats women like Robin and Nami like glass, and assumes that he is some savior of women. The irony of Sanji actually (almost) acting mature around a woman, more so than any other woman he's met in the story, only to have her apparently stab him in the back is real. 

 

Also, there is a bit of justice here for Sanji considering that this happens after he trusted a Yonko, who Luffy clearly made an enemy of, rather than trusting Luffy on this. From the start, his handling of the situation has been terrible.

Only yonji would be redeem, the other would most likely wipe the floor.
This op afterall, bad guy would get stomp.

If Sanji won't be with anyone, he'll buy occasionally, if not frequently, packages of women magazine for men and add them to the ones he already owns. We all know he would be pleased for the rest of his life

I dont dislike sanji I just dislike how his character is. And you clearly did think I meant it that way or else you wouldnt have even said anything.
Sanji deserves this because of his recent actions towards Luffy and Nami. Im not going to look away because lol he straw hat he cant do no wrong. 
He messed up own up to your characters flaws and move on. No character is perfect no such thing.

Regardless he deserves and im glad Puddin is evil I didnt expect her to be a goody two shoe. 

Her older sister who is friends with nami is the only good one because she had the gale to leave Big Mom.

Only good Vinsmoke I see right now is Sanji's Sister and thats stretching it. The family is just terrible all around and Im not gunna be cheering for either team Im cheering on Luffy and Nami.

 

Also shout out for Nami not want her husband to rip off his hands because she wouldnt want to see him like that.

Whoops. He was supposed to encourage Luffy to take him and get Zeff killed. The only way to get Luffy to leave was to insult him and tell him there was no point because he wasn't the kind and loving Sanji they knew. And what did he do to Nami? Sanji never once insulted Nami. Everything was directed at Luffy to get them to go. He has insisted multiple times he was willing to give up his dreams and life if it meant the Straw Hats could just leave and still find their own dreams. Screw how they feel. If it means they can leave and find their dreams, that matters 10000x more than their feelings about Sanji. That's what he knows, and that's why he's sacrificing himself for them. You can't take anything away from Sanji for that.

There is a big difference between between disliking someone for one reason and liking them for another.

Dude how am I being biased? Im stating a fact that even Zoro has said. Dont insult or mess with our captain or you are trash. Insulting a captain means insulting the crew.

So he insulted himself?

If anything, he just embarrassed himself to try and get them to abandon him. Give him some credit. You're just taking the bad and leaving out the good. Something a Sanji hater would do.

Yup. There is now way that would ever replace Sanji nor will it ever Be Oda's intention. I think this is for Sanji to get some major character development. The point is, Sanji did what he did up til this point for his friends and Zeff's lives. Whether you think he is correct in doing everything up to now, and whether or not this latest chapter is a punishment he deserves is your own interpretation. What Sanji said and did to Luffy was an lie and act, which Luffy saw right through, so again it is up to you whether or not Sanji crossed the line there, but the fact is,  no action he took so far was fully for his own sake. I'm not stupid or single minded enough to call it completely selfless because there is no such thing as complete selflessness, but for the millionth time Sanji's every action for this arc was for his real family's sake. It was for his friends/crew, and his "true father". My 2 cents though.

Yes, he is going to be welcomed back, but no, it does matter. First, the apology must happen. The only thing that separates him from Usopp is that he was acting somewhat selflessly, but nonetheless, he attacked and insulted Luffy with no justification.

 

Not to mention, his actions this arc are entirely contrary to the entire purpose of training during the timeskip. They were supposed to get stronger to help Luffy, in order to avoid a situation where they were completely outmatched and separated apart from their own will. At the very first sign of trouble, Sanji completely crumbled and gave up. It does matter.

The apology will happen, but I don't think what Sanji did was completely unjustified. There was no way Luffy was leaving otherwise, so Sanji had no choice but to fight him.

 

I think Sanji realized that there was no chance for Luffy to defeat Big Mom right now, and they would just be killed if he tried to fight her. It's naive to think that two years of training would be enough to defeat a yonko, and to be honest Luffy is lucky that he isn't already dead.
