Final good-bye to a good friend and former H&E member

Earlier today I received word that a good friend of mine, and a former H&E user passed away in the hospital after having an accident. The member was known as FairyTailFantard, but he was never all that active on the site. Apparently, he was coming home from work when his front driver side tire popped, causing him to swerve into the other lane and collide head on into a semi. 

 

For me...I just lost someone I considered a brother. He was an awesome guy to be around, and always managed to bring smiles to everyone's faces no matter what they were going through. But the thing that really gets me...not even a week has passed since he asked for his girlfriend's hand in marriage, and she accepting. The two of them couldn't have been happier, and they had a promising future ahead of them.

 

John, "FairyTailFantard" was preparing to be a privet pilot, and was learning to fly a Learjet. Seeing a person like him just...die,,,I don't know the words for it. He was on the verge of accomplishing everything he ever wanted. Then...his tire popped, and that was it. 

 

I guess there's no guarantee you'll ever make it home again the second you close the door behind you...

 

Rest in Peace, my friend. You'll be missed.

I may not know him physically, but knowing him through here is still heartbreaking.

RIP. Condolences to the family and loved ones. Including us, we will always remember you.

I had a brief contact with him and he seemed one gem of a person. Just being here, he is a part of our H&E family. I wish things were a bit different today :sad:

My heartfelt condolences to his family and all his loved ones. He will always be remembered.

To hear a member of this site pass away is damn sad, it's like losing a family member. I thought it was a user quitting, but sadly not what we all wanted to hear. It makes you wish we could have done something to prevent this from happening. May he rest in peace, he's in a better place now.

R.I.P. fellow member. Sad to hear that he died through a car accident. We just recently had a tragic car accident at my college.
