Another simple food topic. Just wondering if you combine any foods or condiments that are more unique than usual.

I, for example, have French toast with ketchup, and everyone thinks I'm crazy for it.

Beer and Ice cream. I don't eat this combo myself, but a guy I used to go to school with does. I don't know how he does it, as it looks pretty disgusting to me. But then again, I'm not exactly a huge fan of alcohol.

Sounds like a different take on a root beer float. I think with a good type of beer, a sweeter dark porter maybe, it could work.

I used to eat beer and chocolate. Not anymore, though. I wouldn't recommend this combination to anyone, actually LOL

Someone I know once said that mayonnaise and radishes go great with everything.

Pizza with pineapples :twitch:

This combination isn't odd in my country. But that's probably because we use pineapples with almost everything.

@Skarrow same here. I'm foreign and grew up eating pizza with pineapple so it surprises me how many people think it's a strange combo.

An odd combo for me is scramble eggs and syrup.

Ketchup and scramble eggs.

You mean ketchup that's on top cooked scramble eggs? That's common here :D

An odd combo for me is scramble eggs and syrup.

But scramble eggs and syrup is not.

I guess what's considered "odd" as a combination depends on where you come from, where you are now, what you grew up with, etc

Still, it's nice to find out what others think. Like say: Liu Bie thinks scrambled eggs+ketchup is weird, but I eat that for breakfast at least twice a week. On the other hand, I can't wrap my head around Lid's French toast+ketchup combo simply because... ... ...just because. LOL.

Has anyone tried mixing ketchup and mayonnaise before?

Isn't that common on sandwhich? No? There are some sandwhich here (and burger) that uses those ingredients.

I n my case the Ketchup is aside of the scramble eggs then I combine the tortilla.

A clarification:

Ketchup, poured into mayonnaise, and then mixed together until the mixture is orange colored. And then eaten as is without anything else.

I can't think of any especially odd food combinations I enjoy, but some people think it's weird that I like mixing ketchup and mustard with fries.

My sister once ate a pickle with whipped topping and said it was good, though I think she was just trying to gross me out.

Odd food combo: stir fry x stir fry.
My mother sometimes mixes two stir fry leftovers on one frying pan(?) to warm it. That tastes weird enough for my tongue.
