Aragon also became King and Arwan became Queen, because he got over his fear of becoming like that prince who died by the ring hands. Aragon x Arwan is my otp xd

I believe firmly that she was supposed to change things for the better and stop making things the same way within the clan system they have in place. I'm a Hinata fan but I just don't like how all this ended for her. She is now in a loveless marriage to man, who only got with her so he could have political clout with the elders. That was the reasoning Shikamaru gave for the pairing not because of love but for political power...." If she ended up with Neji or another Hyuuga like her bodyguard, then I believe she wouldn't be stuck in this endless cycle she has herself in. I prefer Kiba x Hinata, but Neji x Hinata would make far more sense with how the clans tend to interbreed for the Doijustu to stay pure and all plus it was not unsual for cousins to marry in Japan during the edo period, which the Naruto time frame is based from apparently.

Sorry but even Neji X Hinata actually make sense but isn't profitable enough. NH and SS is chosen because it profitable for long term.

Haven't we been over this. No. Hinata is not the heir to the Hyuuga clan any more she is an Uzumaki. By marrying Naruto she lost any rights or internal political clan power she could have had. Hanabi and the cousin she probably had to marry are the heirs.

 

*reads through some of the post* OK some of you think Neji was next in line after hanabi or was the heir. No. He was of the side branch he was of a different and lesser caste then the main branch. 

 

The main branch of the hyuuga clan is not just hinata immediate family. It's normally and most likely several families. Let's say it ten for this post. So these ten families make up the aristocracy of the Hyuuga clan. They rule the clan set up the policies and so on. With Hinata's father as clan head who job it is to placate the other main branch (ruling) families. If Hinata entire immediate family were to die. The position of clan head would be decided by the other main branch families, and they would pick someone among the main branch. Now the reason Hinata and Negi's father are of different castes despite being twins but hinata and hanabi being of the same caste despite the age gap apart is because of their genders. Neji's father was male so he was force to start his own family in the side (slave) branch the second he was born. Hanabi did not get the same fate nor hinata once Hazashi decided to make Hanabi his heir because they can be politically married off. Either to another of the main branch families for internal clan base political power or outside the clan say the future hokage for external political power. 

 

Normally Hazashi would marry his heir daughter to a member of a main branch family that they are close to politically in the clan. He would adopted the Man and he and the heir daughter would marry and the man would be the next clan head. The other daughter he would then marry to another family to keep them loyal. Through these two marriages he would be able to keep control of the clan.

 

Now let say instead of marrying the other daughter to someone in the clan he marries her to someone outside the clan. Someone that everyone knows is going to be hokage one of these days. Who is also a major war hero, and the savior of the world. That give the Hyuuga family a lot of political power in the village because their blood now flowing through that hokage's children, they also are now a permanent foundation of the Uzumaki clan, so if the Uzumaki clan ever becomes a major political power they can use that, and since the hokage seem to be based of a single line of master and students. That means that they will have almost a permanent prestige and influence in the village's policies. Both in permanently in the Uzumaki clan and in the Hokage's succession line.  But if said person tired to influence internal clan policies? Well he and outsider who doesn't truly understand the clan and his wife is no longer a true hyuuga. Also this hokage is imposing tyranny on this clan. And they could rally other clans since they could say "If he is trying to force-ably change our internal clan policies what says he or some other hokage won't do that same to you." Forcing the hokage to back down from any attempts at ending the internal clan policy of enslaving other clan members.

 

Also it seems the offspring's byakugan are not true byakugan since they have to be "Awakened" like a sharingan. Which may mean that after a few generation the byakugan may fade from that line. So they don't have to worry about their eye spreading like wildfire in a few generation. While they on the other hand. Since that couple produced a daughter they can marry that girl back into the clan and get the uzumaki's stamina introduced into their clan.

 

So the best way to end slavery in this clan would be to have Hazashi marry one of his daughters to some that deeply desire to end it and have that person become clan head. It would have to be someone within the clan because they wouldn't allow an outsider to take the position. And that person should have the support of the hokage just to add external support for his policy change.

 

So in short for those that don't want to read this long post: "NejiXHinata is anti-slavery while narutoxHinata is pro-slavery."

Yeah no it's not. It's much more profitable as NaruSaku, SasukeKarin, and Sasuke x Naruto. Because most of the merchandise have them together and nothing of the wife and kids.
