Ok, This is kittening awesome!

Hinata was not even shown in this chapter! always a positive in my books. Sakura finally released that damn seal we've been waiting for so long for. Naruto and Sasuke look like they are going into a combination of the kyuubi and the susanoo... and there is ONE FINAL ATTACK. AHH Story PROGRESSION.

Nothing too eventful happened in this chapter, but it was acceptable. We received some additional panels of the fight against Tobi, Kakashi's assessment about how on some subconcious level that Tobi wants to believe that Naruto is correct in his thinking, and the Alliance has begun the attack against the tree monster.

 

This is practically a confirmation that Sakura's seal is exactly like Tsunade's. She released her seal and is now using it to sustain the fodder as they attack. That was perhaps the most interesting segment of this chapter but I personally don't expect to see much more of either Tsunade or Sakura.

Wow!! Finally some action!! So many things happening I don't even know where to begin...

 

So Katsuyo is a monstrously huuuge slug. Lol at that.

 

Obito is starting to redeem himself.. and Naruto and Sasuke combination attack coming out next chapter. Sweet.

 

Also it seems the flower is about to bloom. I feel like this war will end sooner than we all expected.

 

EDIT: Actually I think it's more like Obito's time as the main villain is about to end. I can see Madara switching places with him very soon. His redemption has been mentioned too many times already... and with Kakashi's last thoughts I believe it is not far from happening. Unfortunately this reduces the chances of a Rin/Sakura parallel confirmation.

I too have the feeling that we won't see much of either again, at least not during this arc.  Whatever, I still enjoyed seeing the two of them fight side by side, and that actually gives me some hope that Sakura might differentiate herself from Tsunade in some way in the next arc, not much hope...but some

... both Tsunade and Sakura using Byakugou can only summon 1/10 of Katsuyu ... that's why she is the only slug in that forest ..

Thoughts

I wouldn't say anything too eventful happened, but it's nice to see that perhaps Obito might be changing the way he's thinking thanks to Naruto and I wonder how Naruto and Sasuke will combine their final attack against him. Did anyone also catch when Obito said his friends would betray him again, the panel fell on Sasuke. I think it's some major foreshadowing isn't it?

We're FINALLY approaching the climax. Like for real.

Sakura released the seal, but the Byakugou she's using is connected to Katsuyu somehow. That still confuses me tbh. DAMN Katsuyu must be huge though! I also agree with those saying we most likely won't see much more of Tsunade or Sakura - which sucks but honestly I expected it. I would've liked to see them fight together more but oh well. I suppose Sakura will get her focus when the time's right.

I like how characters just tell us other characters' thoughts, without any proof.
And that was sarcasm.

I don't really like how other characters seem to just KNOW what another character is thinking/feeling. Sometimes it's understands, like with Sai and Naruto/Sakura. But I'd rather have been shown this dilemma that Obito apparently has, instead of Kakashi simply telling us it exists. Because Obito has been pretty adamant, and honestly I wish it would have state this way.

But AAAHHHHH @ "because it's my ninja way" not gonna lie I smiled at that. THAT'S the Naruto I want. And I LOVE the ending line: "I'll sleep tomorrow. I can dream on my own!!!" Seems like the Kyuubi and Susanoo will combine, too, awesome.

I also enjoyed what Obito said about how his friends will betray him again - I'm looking at you, Sasuke (and the panel even FOCUSED on Sasuke - thrown right under the bus yo. Foreshadowing).

Oh, and Obito's whole "Why do you keep getting up? What do you fight for!?" spiel... I smell an ObiRin parallel coming. :hurr:

I somewhat called it that Obito is running out patience with Naruto and he's going to be really pissed the more Naruto keeps standing. Sasuke claims the next attack will be it. Yeah, chapter 3, nope. But hey, let's watch, shall we?

Thoughts

Yeah, this chapter was good, and I felt that for once, Sakura isn't being overshadowed by anybody. Tsunade's strategy was a great solution to the chakra-sucking problem. I definitely liked the the master-student combo with Sakura.

Kind of makes me wish Jiraiya was revived too... Getting to see the Sannin and their respective students work together would've been nice. While it's probably useless to hope Tsunade and Sakura will be getting more screentime, I think this chapter made me a little willing to accept that. That, and the fact they found a counter to one of Obito's abilities also helps make them shine in their own way.

Woah I'm really speechless with what just happened, and quite honestly I enjoyed every single thing that happened in this chapter. It looks Obito is about to use TnJ (could be wrong), Sakura's Byakogou seal,and that Bijuu Susanoo fusion.
