For the Summer of 08' I was obsessed with Twilight, I read all four books in about a week or two... but now I must admit I'm a bit of a hater. I've read better written books, the story is alright, but it just isn't written in an especially good way.

I mean, I'm not justified in saying her (Stephanie Meyer) writing sucks, because it doesn't. It could just be better.

On another note, I'm thinking I'll go see New Moon sometime next week laugh.gif The CGI wolf transformation looks rather cool!
meh.

I LOVED New Moon! I got to the theater really early, and I even ate at Tony Roma's because it looked so empty outside and there were no lines...but. omg. When I went inside the theater the lines went around the damn place, but I still managed to get great seats...almost sprained my ankle running in heels though It was friggin awesome, and I loved it. My throat is still raw from all the screaming 8D

Hm... It's interesting, but when I saw the trailer for New Moon, I thought, "Wow, I really want to see this movie."

I still do.

Those darn Twilight fans became such an obstacle for me just for me to see a movie that had nothing to do with vampires! I saw the line, staring in disbelief how many fans the franchise. I got in line, stood their for 20 minutes without moving, and then I realized that it was the line for people who already bought their tickets! So I got mine...and I had to go in the back of the line (to be fair, I got to see Where the Wild Things Are on time, but still...)

Dark is probably going to kill me for posting this, but it's just too funny (I should also point out that these guys gave the first Twilight a Matinee)

LOl that picture looks like it came outta harry potter. kruemelmonsteryn0.gif

Okay, If ANYONE know anything about truly about me then you'll know I LOVE teen fiction. <3 So this is why when I was sick and Twilight was on the movie channel I totally watched it cause I wanted to see what the hype is about.

And before I go on to the story I would like to say that I hate Twilight hype and the chick that plays Bella. Both are VERY ANNOYING.

Anyway onto story...
I thought that it was pretty half decent, and kinda reminded me of all those romance novels that I have read. LOL. But I also, have got to say that I find teen romance pretty boring because eventually you'll find him boring go to college get a real job and find someone more handsome and awesome then the guy you met in high school. Unless you're one of the lucky 1/100000 people that marry there high school sweetheart. Teen angst drives me up a wall, I ABHOR IT!

Secondly the reason why I didn't like it was that I am NOT a big fan of vampires. Mostly cause of the biting thing....though in the movie when Old Man Cullen totally bit Edward while on bed my Yaoi senses were tingling.

Third is at the end there where the vampires were after her and she ran away from home.... I know it was for her own safety. BUT SERIOUSLY do you wanna teach that to kids? If you have a problem run away from home and a handsome guy will protect you!

That and well there were a few continuity errors that movie made that annoyed me...

Now when I make fun of the series I mostly do it cause I hate the hype, And seriously I bet the book is better then the movie.

New Moon makes $140.7 Million in first 3 days alone.

& that's not counting what it's going to make on sunday. It's behind The Dark Knight, and Spider-man 3, but placed ahead of Pirates of the Caribbean.
