Nah, just kidding, I have nothing against Simon Pegg, his performance on shaun of the dead was amazing in my opinion. What I didn't liked about Hot Fuzz was the plot in general.

You DO know that it's a parody of action movies/buddy-cop genre right? Dunno if that affects your opinion of the movie.

You're talking about Hot Fuzz, right?

Keeping in mind I last saw it several years ago and don't have the best of recollections about it: I knew that it was supposed to be a parody going into the movie; still found it an incredibly fractured story that didn't deliver on the humor I went in expecting to see in it, nor on the storyline it was trying to create. I wouldn't list it among the "worst movies I have seen," but I think -- on all levels -- it was a failure. Its treatment of both the buddy-cop genre and the action movie genre didn't feel like a parody at all, yet the plot itself was too incomprehensible for it to be anything else. The only thing that felt like a parody was the whole sequence about Pegg's character being so good a cop that he was embarrassing the other cops in his district, and that was why they 'punished' him with the transfer... everything else, well....

Pegg is a great actor; Hot Fuzz was not a great movie.

You haven't experienced the full cofusion of modern gender relations until you've heard an angry group of women yelling, "We want tentacles!" at an all-night Hentai-fest.

Another one is the Men Who Stare at Goats - It was terrible. Idk why I picked that movie. I didn't know it going to be like that I thought it was something else. When we went to the movie theater there was only old people with white hair and bald spots. The movie was so boring we wanted to get up and just leave but we didn't.

It was like nails on a chalkboard and my brother actually fell asleep during the movie. After that they never let me pick a movie. The plot was stupid I mean like group of men who had a special ability to kill goats by staring at them?

Hey, it was far better than the Masters of the Universe (He-Man) live-action movie or the Street Fighter movie (the first one, not the Chun Li film); actually one of the better of that ilk of b-rated movies. Sure, it stunk, but it was SUPPOSED to be utterly silly.
