Bad Company 2 shines on consoles.

 

BF3, not so much... it's fun, but I prefer the PC version.

BF3 is definitely better on the PC, you have double the number of players on the servers, and it's so chaotic. 

 

Having said that, it's been so long since I fired it up.  I blame Guild Wars 2... (which has yet another update coming next week)

I'm one of those poor sods that bought the console version. I regret it even today...

 

Luckly, the PS4 won't need to bother with these restrictions. Soon I can kiss PC upgrading goodbye.

Heh. had so many good times in bf3. And yes. the little gaming time i have Guild-wars 2 just EATS IT UP D=

They recently switched to a Bi-weekly story update schedule. so expect content a lot faster.... The game

literally feels like a never ending mmo now lol. best 60$ i ever spent

I kinda got bored of GW2... happens with every MMO I buy.
 
I level one character to max, finish the story.
 
And then try another class, get halfway and stop playing. I'm like at least 3 months behind on the content now.

Looks like houses are back, along with modding cars. Lots of side stuff to do, this game is gonna last me a while.

 

The MP features will be shown off at a later date: but you get a glimpse of it at the end. (Flying fighter jets!)

It's not really odd, but I can see why.

 

With the release of GTA V and GTAO, the servers are going to be packed. Therefore they take 2 weeks to prepare each and every server they have and test the loads. I'd hate to see another fiasco for online gaming with full servers.

While it might seem like a normal Mmo their new two week content update policy means they add tons of 

fun stuff on a regular basis. one of my favorite recent events was basically Mario Kart Gw2 style

And if you do decide to pick it up me and muffins are on the EU Gunnars Hold Server.

 

The World Vs World gamemode is also pretty sublime. Specially if you're running with a decent

group of players. Here's a video of my guild and one of our sister guilds fighting an enemy

3-4 times our size. and having a blast doin it

Since having shot the video we moved to Gunnars Hold so we aren't as hopelessly outmanned as 

we were in the video. we still have tons of fun though even more so now....
