It feels like we went through the entire manga only to end up with a story with problems where no problems exist. Kishi was so rushed to finish his manga that he ruined it, now he wants to keep writing? Am I missing something? He literally ruined his own handywork because he just had to finish it in one chapter. 

I just don't get it, if I were Kishi I would probably walk far away from the Naruto manga and start working on a new project, probably building a new fanbase considering the Naruto fanbase is the most divided of any I have ever seen.

Maybe Bolt's story will be cool, I just don't feel like I can give it my attention in good conscience.

Yes, I believe Kishi built up the characters but due to rushing the ending he killed the development. 699 was just a character killing chapter where everyone seemed way OOC. I like the thought of IT. I don't depend on this idea, I've already accepted that Kishi ruined his characters. He would have to pull a really clever stunt in order to win back my respect of the manga. Thought I think almost everything before that chapter has been really good.

This thread is building a ton of momentum. I really like all the ideas here, but I honestly believe everyone needs to run in through in their heads - what if we are wrong ("again"). We will get all worked up and then be let down and then curse Kishi's name ("again").

I really like all the information collecting, you guys are way smarter than I am. Just expect the worse and hope for the best. At least make yourselves accept that it may not happen, that way if it doesn't you won't be crushed. If it does, then we get to victory dance. But please, if we end up winning, lets vow to never rub it in their faces, we should at least have some honor in winning, or losing, either way.

Not that there will be a part 3, but if there were, I think its a pretty safe bet to say that Bolt and Sarada would fall in love. In the end we just had to wait 1 generation and we finally got NS lol. Oh well, life goes on : )

Whoops, just read, there will be a part 3, I guess we will get that sweet Bolt Sarada shipping. Its too bad, BS doesn't sound as good as NS hahahaa.

I believe the point everyone is missing is simply this: Sakura's character was developed to show that she isn't fickle. Her and Naruto share the same trait when it comes to Sasuke, they both will always care about Sasuke as someone they consider their family. Kakashi mentioned Sakura's loving character. She is someone who can't kill the love in her heart she has for someone else. I regard to this chapter, I feel like it being similar to the part 1 ending was intentional. Not to degrade or ruin part 2 character development, but to show that they didn't develop away from their core design.

I agree, I wasn't a huge fan of this chapter, but I just don't believe it to ruin NS development. The development is still there. It wasn't nullified. All that occured  was Kishi reinforcing Sakura's core character. Her heart is not like the autumn skies or w/e she claimed. This also doesn't mean she doesn't love Naruto. All we need is for this fight to finish and Naruto to fulfill the promise he made to Sakura. As soon as that is done, I believe we will have our NS - and I really don't think it will be bittersweet.

My problem with this whole thing is simply put ---- This is a shonen manga and Kishi never should have made multiple pairing interactions. He jammed way too much romance in an action manga, I believe at the sacrifice of some great character development. I really wanted to see some of the great character development like we got from part 1, or part 2's team 10 arc with Hidan and Kakuza. Wish he would have put some more development in the manga for the other teams.

He made NS as the main pairing, he developed them together on purpose and showed that the start of that pairing was the end of the POAL. Just wish he would not lead everyone on with these multiple pairings.

I don't really get why Kishi is having these dumb Sakura sad moments whenever Sasuke openly states he doesn't care about his comrades or their lives. I mean, its not news, she is one of the few who questioned Sasuke's motives and doesn't trust him. This is not a surprise, but why does Kishi keep bringing it up when he can use that time to progress the story?

Not that I don't like the moments she appreciates Naruto sticking up for her and Kakashi, but its just pointless rehashed material. We all know Naruto will not stand by and watch his loved ones die, and we know Sasuke is just using Naruto to stop Kaguya. We all know Sasuke is the final bad guy.

Anyways, hopefully Kishi will focus on this fight, and maybe he will use Sakura and Kakashi in someway, more than likely he will. Its just, Sasuke has noted their uselessness too much, so now I think Kishi owes it to his characters to make Sasuke eat those words.

Also, I assume one big reason Sakura wasn't left outside was for the purpose of extending this stupid pairing war. If we all saw Sakura's deepest desires, well I think it would speak volumes, then again it has spoken volumes already in my opinion.

Good read. We can try to debate Kakashi's speech all day long. I believe the point of his speech was to say how they all grew up. I liked it, Naruto has surpassed all previous hokage, Sakura isn't anchored to a crush and has established her place as a splendid shinobi ( not to mention she has a kind heart ), Sasuke isn't obsessed with Itachi.

I also like that Kakashi is still a little concerned about Sasuke's plans after they beat Madara, though he doesn't dwell on it. Best part about this chapter other than Sakura being saved is probably, Team 7 finally back as equals, even though Naruto and Sasuke are super buffed right now.

Predictions : Sweet Madara fight, I still think Sasuke may try to kill Naruto after they beat Madara. Also, I think this is Naruto's best look.

In all fairness, we got a ton of fan service with that one music video of Sakura holding Naruto and crying. Then Perriot put that song at the

ending credits and had Sakura in the shower drawing Naruto's face. I mean, at this point, Kishi has hit the point of no return and we all

the final pairing. I say, let NH enjoy the last bits of fan service, just like we all enjoyed when they gave us fan service.

I don't want to bash anyone but this's one of the most stupid rant that I've ever read by far...

 

I'm kinda surprised people still think there is a chance other pairings will happen. I'm mean, Kishi made it pretty obvious on both accounts, Karin loves Sasuke and is the one trying to save him, Sakura loves Naruto and is the one trying to save him. Plus, I honestly don't think Kishi had to draw so many different panels of Sakura giving Naruto CPR, but he did, he spent a lot of panel time on Sakura's efforts. I agree this is Sakura being as professional as possible but its obvious that she is extremely emotional at this moment. After Naruto is resuscitated I'm sure we will see all of Sakura's emotions pour out, its just that right now, she is fighting to save the one she loves. 

Can we just call it at this point, I mean, that chapter pretty much showed the end pairings exactly. There can be no more doubt, just one more chapter and NS will more than likely be canon, we are almost there!!!!
