Not developing NH more was incredibly dumb. There are like 3 NH scenes during war arc. A Naruto clone shows up to help Hinata, Hinata creams her pants from the feeling of Naruto's hand over her cousin's corpse, and Naruto irrationally tries to save Hinata from the IT. This is compared to Sakura meeting Naruto's father, Sakura pondering the selfless heroism of Naruto while wishing he would focus on himself, and the CPR scene. And of couse it was NS only before that. Why would you develop NS but do NH? It's literally the worst of both worlds.

Since Hinata to him is nothing like his wife he couldn't change her personality on a dime like SP does, he had to stick with Sakura. Because NS was for his wife as an apology that he was busy at working so he couldn't spend time with her, but he still loved her. That's the main reason he held on to Sakura for so long. It also why he doesn't like either SS or nH beside all the trouble it has caused to him. SS is his wife with another man, while nH is hated by his wife because it him being with a woman that she is absolutely nothing alike.

Don't forget Hinata healed naruto broken shoulder during the war. That is the most dumbest , idiotic things that ever happen in the war arc , i mean come on ... why would Kishi make naruto that basically a god that can save gai from near death state , broke naruto shoulder ???? so that he can show the reader how good hinata is ?? the rabid fans instantly cry in joy and said hinata is better than sakura she is useful and she can be a medic too!!

Yeah, most of the NH scenes have no logic to them. The only one I have no problem with is Naruto arriving to help Hinata. Why is Hinata orgasming when her cousin just died? Why did Naruto try to save her from the IT when it wouldn't kill her? And that thing you mentioned. They're really dumb scenes. Even Sasuke preventing Sakura from falling is a better pairing moment than any of those.

Most of the nH scenes comes off as his editors suggesting an idea to him, with him either actively screwing it up or just making gaffs because he just doesn't care about hinata or get her appeal.

 

"Hinata should fight pein to save Naruto and confess her love for him." OK. She admits her feeling, then goes of to die, and gets almost instantly one-shotted.

"Naruto should thank & praise hinata for saving him from pein." OK, during the War when a clone is hunting the Zetsus' he save Hinata from them and gives a quick thanks and compliments her.

That monologue where she seemed to be saying that she would stop chasing Naruto but then changes her mind half way through. 

The Hand Holding bit, and everything afterward for a while till the focus goes to Sasuke.

"When Naruto is dying she should races toward him." OK, but she not needed so she trips on some rocks.

"When the IT actives Hinata should cry out for Naruto mentally and Naruto should hear it and try desperately to rescues her." OK, but the IT still in effect so Sasuke stop him from doing the incredibly stupid act.

That scene really made no sense since Naruto already has Deadpool-levels of regeneration when accessing Kurama's chakra, so why would he need Hinata of all people to heal his shoulder? And I can't get over how they fangasmed over Hinata working up the courage for taking a single miniature Juubi  clone, reveling in her supposed display of bravery and strength...when Sakura was already manhandling an entire group of them like it was nothing.

Brilliant. I totally agree. That has to be exactly what happened. Everything is way too stupid and uninspired to be anything else.

I think, if he was actively screwing it up it was because his wife was still expecting NS to happen, and probably made her dislike of nH clear whenever she saw it happen. No woman. No matter how kind wants to see her husband get overly affectionate with another woman or a woman get overly affection with her husband. For example. Look at Hinata, she couldn't hate Kushina's scarf enough in the Last. So to appease his editor he added the nH scenes they wanted in, but to please his wife he actively sabotage and undermined them.

 

If he was actually sincere in putting nH together, again he didn't get the pairing. And if he did try learning what the appeal was from other people. The people he was trying to get it from were probably the worst people to get writing a romance from. Le's see: His assistants (that include that pedophile), his newer incompetent editors that weren't Yahagi, SP, or Anime Reviewers that were huge fans of Hinata on Youtube.

lol well not me man he can never do another manga for all I care and never and I mean never do manga work again and will just have to do everyday job like we all do. It's going to happen Kishi's career as a manga writer is done he kittened up so its over for him maybe he could have saved it by saying he was forced to make NH and SS but he has done to much and has to make new lies and twist the facts to suite his own needs.

 

But its too late for that his career is dead and only has himself to blame really.

Not just the pairings, but the whole last 4-5 years of his story. I don't know what the hell was going on behind the scenes but it sure wasn't "innovation".

 

That said I appreciate him creating the story (lots of fond memories), but unfortunately its clear he didn't respect his only manga and main character. My main gripe is that he probably DID have a vision of how he wanted Naruto to play out and end (especially with support from his original editor), but stopped around '09-'10 and gave into the demands and desires of fans/studio so it could be extended. He seemingly can't stand up for what HE wants. Because even in the last arc of the manga, there are noticeable panels and scenes where it feels like it's written by the Old Kishimoto style. Before they revert back to the craptastic storyline of course.

 

I would never read another manga from him. Still trying to get over the last one he made...

I think the news was announced at Jump Festa or it is official there and it got leaked before hand if Jump festa hasn't happened yet.
