It really was a fantastic movie. I enjoyed all the characters in the movie and I thought that the camera work was very well done.

Nice CGI, good characters, and decent plot. Not a Trekkie, but I still enjoyed it and could follow what was going on. Definitely a good summer movie. Surprised that the Wolverine movie made more in its first opening weekend though. Either way, a fun watch.

Absolutely fantastic! J.J. Abrams really knows how to make one happy tahaji!

The only thing I had mixed emmotions about was the romantic relationship between Spock and Uhura, Albeit intresting, still left me trying to remember if that had ev er happened in the show. I remember more of 'The next genertation' than I do about the original one.

And it looks like we'll be getting a sequal! Though it would of surprised me more if it wouldnt have been in the works...

I saw this movie and absolutely loved it. Anyone curious if it is good or not, I recommend seeing it.

Oh and a quick answer to your though there Tahaji:

No, it never happened in the original series. But this is an alternate universe that had the paradox ripple when James T. Kirk's dad died, so that explains the surprising romance. Honestly though, the previews made it seem like it was between Kirk and Uhura. Also, lol at her first name. XD

Sequel is an absolute mandatory for this. The characters were perfect. Let's hope J.J. wont mind doing another one.

So I literally just got back from seeing this movie like, 2 minutes ago.

Let me just say this.
I am NOT a Star Trek fan. I knew nothing about it other than most of it takes place in space, and the Volcan hand thing.

I absolutely loved this movie. I adored it! I thought it was great, and while I cant say I know a lot about Star Trek, I can say I'm a fan!

NOT SO FAST, MY FRIENDS.

Not everyone enjoyed the movie. Check out this "Eye on Hollywood" segment.
