Since when did smirking and blushing equal romantic feelings?

Since the Kage arc when Sasuke attempted to murder Sakura. After that, SS arguments stopped making the very little sense they used to make before. It was at that point they started becoming desperate and started to celebrate whenever they got any panel that did not have Sasuke and Sakura trying to kill each-other.  Any panel where Sakura/Sasuke said the other's name was good enough for them to declare their OTP as canon. After that came the eye-smex, bedroom eyes and other such insane comments. This 'smirk means true love' was just another one of the far-fetched piece of trash they came up with.

Well since Sasuke didn't smirk apparently its an apocalypse for SS and nothing on Sakura's face from the time naruto and sasuke saved her, they are annoyed with that too, but apparently now the manga is more important to them but did they forget that NS has the majority of development in the manga, Sakura isn't exactly happy with Sasuke, that she mistrusts him, that Sasuke is just a jerk and was willing to let them die? Dear god SS fans are just unsatisfiable, the manga already has many deals of well, negativity around SS and its still there, 685 didn't solve this and many act like it did, but naruto still loves sakura and sakura has had many moments and shown more for naruto than mere friendship at times, dear god its going to change more. SS just keeps firing more holes into its ship...

 

and they say all we have is parallels, my god the SS fandom is prone to even more violate sensitivity, if this is their reaction from just a tiny detail making no difference, they will be very angry if NS goes canon. I enjoyed the last weeks episode, the chapter this week, and episode this week but god the discontent of SS fans is an added bonus. Maybe this is what happens when a fandom has gone for so long without any moments they just become so sensitive to the slightest thing that wont even matter, I mean it wont matter, a bigger disappointment with Sakura not trusting sasuke is coming up. But god, its just going to go downhill, if any fans are suprised at sasuke being a jerk after this fight with kagyua and her not supporting him but naruto for hokage and they call her a traitor or a ***** well, thats their problem. This fandom can be so funny when it gets angry.

It's funny how they're putting all the blame on her, it's not like Pierrot needs to approve scripts or anything, no way.

 

And it's not like there's also a director and a bunch of animators that are in charge of, you know, creating the actual animation for the episode.

I came back from a kittening long day at school to see my sasusaku moment ruined, the kittening animation is wrong because firstwhen sakura charged into battle sasuke smiled and looked impressed and when he went to sakura side he was REALLY close to sakura, not ten feet away and her badass moment was f**cked up to, NaruSaku Fans may have the anime on there side but we have the creator of naruto on out side

Well, I don't care about what they say. They can interpret it like that if that's what they wish. But I don't see why we need to deny that there is a smirk. I think we should understand that there is no right and wrong when it comes to interpretating that. Of course a smirk can be seen in a romantic way, even if I disagree in this context, it is a possibility for someone else. And they have the right to see it as a ship moment.
