Like I said in the spoilers thread Sakura will find out about Naruto's plan somehow and go with. And I for one am not jumping on the "Danzou is Madara" bandwagon it makes no sense.

I agree. Fandom has gotten these "this person is OBVIOUSLY that person" things wrong on several occasions before anyways. But there probably won't be confirmation for a while. This Danzo with a Sharingan thing is one of those plot points I can see being drawn out for a while.

If Sleepyfans' translations are correct, I think Sai will REALLY betray Danzou in the next chapter by fighting back against the Root members assigned to watch over Naruto.

EDIT: Do you think it was wise of Kakasi blurting out Naruto's identity to Sai?

Man that Karui packs a mean punch Naruto looks like he went three rounds with Rocky Balboa. That Sai you can tell Naruto changed him into a great friend. And poor Yamato being dragged into this by Kakashi can't help feel sorry for the guy. I wonder who was the mystery person to...maybe a pink hair ninja? I also don't know if Danzo is Madra I mean the guy has been around for a lot of years he could have swiped that eye at anytime. I wish the next chapter was here right now maybe it'll answer some questions.

Judging by the outline, it appears to look like a person particular male that we've never seen before or a filler character from the past.

A great chapter, loved the talk about Naruto from the villagers. Hope Naruto doesn't leave before talking to Sakura, and hopefully that will be cleared up next chapter.

Actually, that's one of those ninja that are "trying" to attack Danzo.

Anyways, damn, Karui did a number on poor Naruto. (Did Kishi was influnced by Street Fighter with Ryu/Ken losing portraits?) Though, when Samui came and asked what's going on, Karui looked like she was about to have a heart attack. And looks like Kakashi already knows the connection of Naruto and Minato. I hope that there will be more talks. And Yamato, always get the crazy look when Kakashi drags him into situations.

As long as Sasuke gets one good beating from Naruto, I won't mind so much him getting redeemed or whatever path. I just hope Kishimoto doesn't split up the current team 7, way funnier then the original ever was.

I want to think it's because Kishimoto has something special planned for just the two of them... But I'm not getting my hopes up. Regardless, I really hope that she and Sai tag along as well. Taking them out of the story after the attention they've got the past couple chapters would be weird, especially since Naruto is bound to see Sasuke at the Meeting of the Five Kages, if he's allowed to leave the village. (I wonder how they'll handle that....)

I agree. I really want Sakura to have some more development and involvement in the plot again. Her and Sai going with Naruto to the summit would accomplish that quite nicely, and maybe give them some time to work things out.

Also, I don't know about anyone else, but I loved the scene where Sai stepped in to protect Naruto, especially when he said, "Sasuke has done nothing but hurt you...if it were me-" He plays a unique role because he's one of the only close friends to Naruto who never really knew Sasuke, thus his view is a lot different from anyone else. His genuine confusion over this is leading him to ask questions that maybe no one else feels comfortable asking. I want a Team 7 reunion badly, but Naruto and Sakura still deserve to beat the crap out of Sasuke first.

Also, I really want Karui to find out exactly who she was beating up - could you imagine the look on her face when she's told she was beating up the hero of the village that took down Akatsuki's "leader"? I don't think she has any idea of how powerful Naruto really is.

Danzo has the Sharingan! Dun dun dun! Wonder if that is what he was referring to when he mentioned his connection to Orochimaru? Afterall, Kakashi is proof you can transplant an eye doujutsu and retain its power. I wonder if Danzo and Orochimaru had a deal where Danzo did something for him and then Orochimaru transplanted a Sharingan into Danzo. If so, wonder what that favor was?

I agree! Hopefully, Kishimoto will have Sakura find out about Naruto's plan, and go with him - whether he likes it or not. Taking her out of the story (yet again) would only hamper her growth as a character. I recall that Kishimoto interview where he said Sakura would get a growth arc, quite possibly connected to her relationships with Sasuke and Naruto.

However, I am glad that Sakura wasn't there at the revelation of Naruto's parentage. I was so disappointed at the complete lack of reaction from Kakashi, Sai, and Yamato! If the ANBU already knew of Naruto's parentage, why did they stand by while Naruto was so hated in his early years? It would have been better if the secret was kept by a select group. Kakashi knowing is OK (he knew the Yondaime and Jiraiya), but it would have been good to see shock on Sai and Yamato's faces. Personally, I hope Sakura and the Rookies will be really shocked - and that they find out much later, after Naruto has proven himself some more. In fact, I'd prefer that Naruto and Sakura got together BEFORE he revealed his parentage to her.

Speaking of Sai, I liked his growth in this chapter. He's developing nicely. Questioning Naruto's loyalty to Sasuke (he appeared a little angry that Naruto was suffering so much for a traitor), and making a spontaneous decision to protect Naruto.

As for Danzou, I've already said my bit in the spoiler thread. He's not Madara, and there is a mountain of evidence against the two being one and the same.

Naruto's smile when he said the 4th has faith in him!

All signs point towards Sai betraying Root, Danzou is even anticipating it.

Plus, I knew this was going to happen: Danzou isn't going to let Naruto leave the village for any reason, so it may come to Team Kakashi vs. anbu Root just to get away from Konoha.

I don't want to believe that Madara is actually Danzou either, but I did like the idea someone posted about Tobi being like a holographic clone/summon.

With all this commotion about the 5 Kage summit etc. I wonder when Naruto will have a self reflecting moment and start asking questions about his dad...and his mom. Now that he knows who his father is...I'm sure he'd be very curious about who his mom was. That would be a perfect time for a NaruSaku moment. She can help console/support him.

As it is, it really looks like things are going to start picking up steam, so that might not happen till much later.

An alright chapter, but am I the only one getting sick of this "Huge revelation, no reaction" thing? He did it with the nine-tails, and now with the Fourth. Geez, Sasuke "killing" Orochimaru got a bigger reaction than Naruto's life has gotten so far.

I'm waiting for a better translation, though. A lot of this chapter seems to be poorly translated, especially the parts concerning Danzou. Sleepyfans may be fast, but they also kind of suck.

And I doubt Danzou is Madara. Sure, they both have Sharingan in the same place, but that doesn't mean jack. Besides, Madara has two working arms, and Danzou stated he was missing one.

...

Of course, now we're going to get tons of "Obito is Danzou!" theories. Argh, fandom!

Yeah, I can't wait for the reaction Sakura will have on Naruto's mummified look. Something isn't adding up, "why on earth are anbu attacking Danzou" that has to be a sign of a potential resistance/rebellion, like to know who the leader is behind the attack (Shikaku/Shikamaru or Sakura possibly ).

Naruto sure does know how to look good to meet the Raikage.

Karui finding out Naruto is Konoha's hero would be priceless! Maybe a potential NarutoXKarui, after all both seem to be hard headed when it comes to certain people and it could make Sakura jealous and push out her feelings for Naruto pretty quick. I'm just thinking to wishfully though.
