Syn11@ why bother reading their arguments? Its a waste of time. Just ignore it the sameway they have ignored the NS development in the manga.

 

I'm interested in different points of view, especially the strange ones. Sometimes it can give you a new outlook on the situation.

All the references to marriage in the last chapter got me wondering if we'll see an NS marriage or if it will skip straight into another timeskip.

I think that would be cool to see, an emotional moment at the end of the war to confirm the pairing, a short timeskip to a couple months later to see them get married, and then a longer timeskip to see them with a family and to see the state of the world.

I didn't even mean to see their arguments, I generally just stick to the NS tag so I can see the pictures and stuff from people like LadyGT and Chatte as well as others. Someone had quoted an SS fan and was talking about it, that's the only reason I found out. The excuses are beyond my comprehension.

Just incase we are forgetting, Naruto and Sakura are both 17 years of age XD. So if at all we get a marriage, we'll get a timeskip for that. I assume, we will just see them getting into relationship and then the timeskip of them having a child and probably Kishi would show us their marriage picture like Akira did for Gohan's marriage with Videl.

What bothers me is the hypocrisy of it. Not so long ago people where apparently bashing Naruto for being sexist by rescuing Sakura, saying that he doesn't trust in her abilities and thinks she should "stay in the kitchen". But when Sasuke completely degrades Sakura and she shows how much it hurts her, Sasuke gets a free pass and people try to pretty it up to convince themselves that his behavior is not a bad thing. Sasuke's attitude was horrible and he seemed to be acting that way just because he could. There's no way it can convincingly be twisted around into anything that favors SasuSaku -- it's appalling that anyone would even try.

 

Fine if people want to ship the pairing, it makes no difference to me, but I can't understand how someone can get so caught up in a pairing that they refuse to see what's right in front of their eyes in black and white. It's frustrating to think that people have such selective reading of a story that they won't even try to see or understand what the writer is trying to portray. Kishimoto is not a perfect writer, nor do I agree with or like everything he's written, but the way people so grossly misinterpret things -- it's sad.

 

Okay, mini rant over.  I think I went off on a bit of a tangent, hopefully none of it comes off as bashing because it's certainly not intended that way.

It's a shonen, teenagers get married all the time

Goku got married when he was 18, Yusuke got reengaged to Keiko when he was 14 or 15, Haru Glory and Elie got married when they were 16-18, Kagome from Inuyasha got married when she graduated from High School Edward Elric got engaged with Winry when he was 17 as well. Kazuki and Tokiko got married when they were 17 or 18. Lola and Boa Hancock proposed to Luffy multiple times. Hell in the Rock Lee shorts he engages to Sakura multiple times (in his headcanon) and she accepts (again in his head canon). I can go on and on really.

So Naruto and Sakura getting married without the need of a timeskip is a very real possibility.

Kaguya doesn't like Madara's body because he's a man, so she chooses to possess Sakura instead who's the nearest female. So Sakura becomes the villain and the boys will have to fight her but fail miserably. Sasuke tries but is easily overpowered and Naruto is too conflicted about the situation. So both are on the verge of death when Inner Sakura takes the reins back and frees herself from Kaguya just like she did during the Chunin exams.

And Naruto will try to call out for Sakura's consciousness, And maybe, he'll even confess for her to snap out of it.

 

"Sakura-chan, I love you and I know you're stronger than her!"

 

That's when Sakura comes back to her senses.
