So in a recent article from Saiyan Island, Hyato Date said following the Kakashi ANBU arc, the rest of the anime this year will be canon assuming if everything goes according to plan.
The deal is, the Kakashi ANBU arc starts this Febuary, so the canon episodes will cease following the special 2 episode week in which we see the origins of the eye of the moon plan and the birth of Akaksuti, if anything most suspect this 2 parter to be canon but with filler thrown in like the episode sect with Naruto and Kurama becoming friends last year but it had the filler of all the major events in the anime from kuramas perspective and that little extra with sakura and shizune leaving for the battle.
This one is assumed to do the same, explore more with obito and Madara before he died and show a small bit of an origin with each akastui member recruited not counting Itachi, Nagato, or Konan.
When the Kakashi filler comes, most assume it will at least 4 episodes but no more than 12. If anything it could possibly be a full 20 despite no information on this. The canon episodes will leave off most likely when the ten tails awakens, otherwise after that its canon the rest of the year assuming the anime team needs to give more time to the manga team then we can see pure fillers again. Otherwise its assumed some of these canon episodes will have extended fillers.
While this can be a good thing so we see the stuff in the future we want, like the fight against the ten tails or the time sasuke talks with hashirama, its also going to be annoying in one sense if they completely drag out the 615 event. This also means we will get to see the 631 events we love so much sooner, but how soon is unknown, the anime should end around chapter 604-06 this month so both would not be far off, we know we have to stomach the 615 events again, but looking at 631 and how we may just get another NS moment in 662, Im not worried, long as they dont utterly drag it out to the point like 166 was, Im fine. Yes we all remember how perriot wasted the budget making hinata look all determined and reduced 6 tails naruto vs pain to an incident of tom and jerry making our pain much greater than all of theirs.
Long as the 615 moment is kept to what it should be like the manga, not a stupid overly emotional memory trip with hinata, im fine, rather I wouldnt mind if it was on neji considering its about him more than anything. Even if 631 or 632 somehow got a filler, long as it wasnt overdone, im fine too.
So looks like we may see 631 coming soon though, if my guess was right, and most episodes take 1.5 to 2 chapters on average, it may be approximately well shockingly june, little more than a year since the time we loved came up. Otherwise in respect to the manga, as said before, prepare to see some filler thrown into the canon episodes maybe each episode will take 1 chapter with filler mixed in.
We need to wait and see but otherwise long as the fillers dont go overboard im fine, i really want to see the kakashi arc though, this is a filler that seems interesting like the chikara arc.
