Just read this article about a Chinese anti japan war drama called Blue Wolf, so they just used a Naruto Shippuden OST in one of their episodes and it's somewhat ironic that they took audio from a Japanese anime and I assume illegally used it in their drama which is Anti-Japan. Anyway click here for a link to the article, what do you guys/girls think about it?

Yeah, they didn't even provide any credits to the composer either. Just straight up plagiarism/stealing music from Naruto, really not professional, there was a similar situation with the Dragon Ball Kai OST where they plagiarised from James Cameron's Avatar. I guess the funny side to it is that it doesn't really suit the scene which makes it look even more stupid.

China is not signatary of the patent treaty so they can steal/plagiarize however the downside is that their original works can be stolen and plagiarized also.

Indeed. China is rather notorious for this kind of thing.

And it would be the Copyright, not Patent.

On the same time, you can steal one of their fighters, copy it and they wont be able to do nothing about it.

It was always been that high, massacre of nanking and how the Japanese refused to acknowledge their wrongdoing on the WWII, then add that with territorial claims.

there has been recent events that have started a LOT of tension between the two countries. This is what I was referring to.

Which probably has oil.
The problem is that Japan tried to habitate those islands in 1940 but the fishing business there failed and the workers come back.

It belonged to the Japanese but due to the fact is inhabitated the Chinese is disputing it.

I think it's mostly because the inslands is an strategical position to isolate Taiwan from Japan and also it's a perfect site to install a missile base.

Thus the potential oil reserves.

As far as I know Copyright Law gets........ complicated. At least it does here in Canada. Anyways I find it REALLY Ironic that an anti-japan drama is using anime soundtracks. Unless it's used to mock anime.

This would be an easy violation, the real problem is the Court side. The copyright holder likely resides in Japan, but the violation is committed by a film likely made in China. There are questions of jurisdiction and whose laws apply. Even if you figure it out and can get a judgment, you still need to be able to enforce it.

i guess one of their sound/video editor is a naruto fan. xD the thought of one naruto fan ruining the entire film and it's whole message with one scene is funny xD
