Exactly, and we can't forget Naruto made someone who tried so hard to be cold-hearted like Zabuza cry as well as always tried to be the kind of ninja who believed in heart, something Kakashi kept trying to stifle but he couldn't because Naruto knew how hard it was to feel lonely, and his pain at being ostracized allowed him empathy to others' feelings, but of course Studio Pierrot had to retcon it to justify the ending and The Last.
 
But it also ruined what made Naruto so good; even when he couldn't forgive Nagato for killing Jiraiya and destroying the Leaf Village, he empathized with him when hearing about his past. He could understand the pain of both Sasuke and Gaara, even if it was much easier with Gaara due to them both being Jinchuriki, he was annoyed with Inari but understood how it must have felt, but chose to not give up, just like with Tsunade when he learned about her past from Shizune, or also what he said to Neji after their fight during the Chunin Exams of how the Clone Jutsu was his worst Jutsu and all that jazz. That's the kind of stuff I so miss from Naruto now.
 
It's the kind of stuff I want to keep in for him in my fanfic, where he understands people well because of his empathy due to his pain and loneliness over the years just for being a Jinchuriki, and that also will be what shapes his bonds with Kurama as well as the rest of his friends and even some of his foes. Of course, I'm gonna do some things differently, since this is an AU, but it still is something important to me that the ending of Naruto destroyed.

I feel ya man. The man problem for me is that SP were able to change Naruto's feelings without a care in the world just to fulfill their fantasy. He is the one character that you shouldn't have to do that too. Yes, things change but the core concept of the story was based around Naruto's ideas so, if that changes so does the story. Once it was told to him that is crush was because of his rivalry of Sasuke it made Naruto unlikable and very shallow. The Last and the ending really butchered his character.

No kidding, Griff, and as he is, he can't even empathize with his own son, which tells me how much he's lost, and also the fact he doesn't give a damn about his kids because of what his new "family" has cost him in the long run.

Naruto Uzumaki: His parents are killed, his godfather is killed, he best friend is awol, the girl he really loves doesn't want him, his gets his arm blown off, misses his won Hokage correnation because his brats can't behave, and he is forced to have kids with a girl he never cared about because he gets guilttripped into being with her...BUT HINATA IS THE POOR ONE?

Sasuke gets his whol e family and clan murdered, brainwashed by everyone, gets HIS arm blown off, and loses his boyfriend to a big boobed no brain bimbo, but POOR POOR HINATA.

Gaara's mother dies in child birth, his father abuses him and sees him as a weapon, people threatened to kill him ad he was shunned, but POOR POOR HINATA.

This is why I HATE the American Naruto fanbase. Oh and by the way, the comments in this are not much better. Like they all say "She had it so rough and she is the best anime character of all time." I wish I was kidding. The only comment that is even negative is "Well, the only bad thing for Hinata is she hit puberty too hard and now she has major back problems."

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with the American Narut fanbase. No where else is this "girl" this popular or anything else...and yet, she is praised literally as a goddess. And I thought the religion of Haruhi Suzamiya was bad. This is far worse.

This is why I hate her and this is why I am always so angry with this character. When I keep seeing garbage like this...It is truly official. NH really is nothing more than a pity-*quack.*

I do think that Naruto was obviously Sakura-sexual. One gets the impression that for him, experiencing things like selfless love, irrepressible sexual desire, and the contentment of being with someone who truly "gets" you is something that he would have to do with Sakura or not at all. This was obvious from how single minded he was. Even the NH moments that Kishi tried to ham fistedly introduce were completely androgynous on the part of Naruto.

I still don't get it either, James. Hell Sakura had more bad thinga happening to her than Hinata. I mean the guy she "loves" tried to kill her.

Every character had more bad things happen to them than Hinata, but I believe, though I did not read the article, is that they count other's misfortunes as Hinata's misfortunes.
#24: Hinata's sister's eyes were ripped out.
#23: Hinata's cousin Neji died while protecting her.
#22: Hinata's collapses from exhaustion and hit her face on the ground.

Like that, because when I think of this list all I can think of is of those pictures of Hinata on the ground stabbed followed by all the other pictures of people being stabbed, inlcuding Sakura, with the words: "Awww, ARE...YOU...OKAY...HINATA?" The lover-nin had more bad things happen to him than Hinata. His friends probably died, he got his arm broken, and the medic girl he was attracted to denied his love confession and yet, he walked away with a smile.

 

 

James, you should had delete the post off your news feed cause honestly I would immediately anything relate to the Unimportance or the Naruto franchise unless something had happened that will cause an fandom uproar of the mistakes happened and the truth has revealed.. And now her fans want to sympathize her because now she has "problems"?! But her fans are the damn reason the franchise are the way right now because they worshiped her like she's important to the point that she's the Virgin Mary.

 

It isn't worth it unless all of those fans finally realized their faults they had caused in the franchise and grow up.

I did eventually, but I just want to point how even more ridiculous HInata's fandom is when they come up with this garbage on a video game website.

The pro-enders always wondered why we don't just "get over" the ending or whatever they say, but then you see stuff like this pop up. This dribble of how poor Hinata is or how romantic NH is and it is just a list full of obviously biased and it is sickening. Like, I literally can point out times when Hinata can do the most mundane things and her fandom praises her like she was Jesus Christ. "Hinata just brushed her teeth? She is the best because she knows good hygiene. That's why she is such a good mother...the best mother in fact. We should all be like her."

And worse still, the worse heartbreak of it all, is that they completely ignore Naruto...again. All these articles I read never mention anything about Naruto and his struggles or the fact that the manga "Naruto" was supposed to be about "Naruto the character."

I mean, how can Kishimoto, Studio Peirot not see any of this? There is a huge difference between a fandom and people are just so downright crazy that it is unnerving and scary. These people act like they would literally kill you if you mention ANYTHING negative about their goddess and probably use you as a sacrifice to the her. And this...THIS..is the fandom that they catered to. THIS is the fandom that supposedly "deserved" the ending of Naruto.

When did the the manga about Naruto stop being about...well...Naruto. Everytime I see an article about Naruto...it is either about Hinata or about NH. Or even rarely about how great Boruto is. Nothing about Naruto in the slightest unless it is extremely negative. NaruHina and Hinata is basically a plague and I am not saying that because of my own feelings...I mean, it literally looks like a psychotic plague sweeping the American otaku nation. It's extremely scary to see these people.I never want to run into them on the street.

First: That would not surprise me that it was on the list.

#1: Naruto ignored her for 5 years.

"OMG, naruto is such an aweful person."

Second: I am still so salty when I find Naruto "fans" who say that NH was planned from the beginning saying they read the whole book, but never once read any interview with Kishimoto or ever heard he did any interviews. How can you be a fan and not look beyond JUST the story? Wouldn't you jump at an opportunity to see how the story was made?

Them: "When did Kishimoto say that?"
Me: "Look up Kishimoto interview NYCC2016"
Them: "I don't believe that is real. Why would Kishimoto come to America?"
Me: "Too scared to admit that maybe what I am saying is true?"

Her immunity against Sasuke while all the other female in the class fall for him is the number one reason shes get so much popularity. The second boost is what her fanatic always said time and time again "Shes always been there for Naruto for the very beginning" . These 2 reason is what makes her so much powerful despite the fact she is a side character that barely makes an appearance.

I will never understand her popularity in a million years. I have seen other characters with almost the exact same specifications and yet....they are nowhere near as popular as Hinata. Why? What is it speicfically about Hinata that makes her so damn popular?

Kind of reminds me of Brooks death in Shawshank Redemption. Wouldnt be surprised if one of those trees we see in the background has Naruto was here etched into the wood.

2) They try to bring up her experiencing pain during the invasion arc... where the entire village was under attack. A lot of people suffered but it's all about Hinata. Neji and Asuma's deaths too.

 

3) Her sucking at being a ninja. The entire cast went through the system, saw it's horrors but with Hinata suffering outweighs all them? kitten.

 

4) Multiple points of her not being able to be with Naruto, either due to shyness or him leaving to train/save the world.

 

It's like this person doesn't even know what hardship actually is, or how pathetic Hinata looks if these are your arguments. Other characters had kitten home lives, and hell Hinata's a kitten parent herself. The entire cast had to deal with being ninja, and if it's so hard for Hinata why doesn't she take issue with Naruto continuing the system? Oh right, she retired at Chunin level to play homemaker while ignoring her son's issues. If it's so hard for Hinata to be without Naruto, her cocaine, why doesn't she train so she can stand next to him (like Sakura) rather than wait at home worrying about him. Oh right, she doesn't. She runs off into battle and gets her ass kicked, even if her children could be left as orphans.

1.) It's funny how many of the parents have somewhat lackluster homelives, but apparently Hinata's is the worst of them. Forget Sakura who has to raise a kid on her own that is not even her own, is in massive amounts of debt, and apparently even has to take care of HInata's weak ass....but Hinata's life is so much more hard because "I can't control Boruto."

This is the same logic of "Between Neji and Hinata....Hinata had the worst life." Like, Neji was cursed, denounced, shunned, his father sacrificed his life, and he even died for this girl, but Hinata had the harder life.

2.) Again, another fact where most if not all of them experienced the same horrors, but apparently only Hinata's reaction matters. Give me a break. It really is "Noone else matters, but Hinata." Hinata stubbing her toe on the bed post is so much more critical than any other female character going through lost. Sorry, Kurenai, can;t feel bad about Asuma dying on you, Hinata just stubbed her toe and this takes all of our attention. Sorry Sasuke isn't around Sakura, but that is not compared to Hinata getting a headache because she bumped her head. Mundane Hinata events is apparently worse than the world blowing up. How conceited.

3.) She sucks as a ninja? That's not what pro-enders say. They say she is the most powerful kunoichi in the entire village and has the power to level gods...now all of a sudden she sucks at being a ninja? God, they can't even remain consistent.

4.) This one.....This one sums up her fandom in a nutshell. Naruto never got the girl he wanted, but because Naruto ignored her for 5 years....POOR POOR HINATA.

I knew this list didn't have anything credible to it...and some I even predicted. This is why I cannot take the American Naruto fandom seriously.
