So, let's share all the info regarding Sakura's new power-ups here.

First things first, we decided it's a seal.

Now, how exactly is translated? Hyakugo or Byakugo.
Cause damn this is confusing!

Special thanks to the Japanese translators! ^_^

I don't think it's Byakugo considering that's what Tsunade uses when the lines overtake her entire body. :D

LOL Megi has it covered. :D

Let me copy and paste here what I have said!

百豪の術 This is Tsunade's technique translated as "Byakugou no Jutsu", the Strength of One Hundred Technique.

"hyaku" is 100, and but can sometimes also be translated as "byaku" (i know, confusing!). However for 百豪の術 it is definitely "Byakugou"

This is a technique, which required her to use her Yin Seal. I believe that Tsunade's forehead diamond is the "Yin Seal".

陰封印 - "Infuuin" means Yin Seal literally "Shade Seal", representing the Yin's black.

白豪 の印 is what Shizune calls Sakura's Seal. It should be translated as "Byakugou no Shirushi"
is "in" or "shirushi" which means mark/seal

白豪 is definitely "Byakugou", which happens to be the same pronunciation as Tsunade's technique. It was translated as Hyakugou, for reasons I'm not sure. I have not seen the raw, but I can confirm that later. However, the work should definitely be pronounced "Byakugou"

白豪 is meaning "White Strength"

Edit: My mistake. The kanji means "White brush", or like Tsunade's technique, "White strength". The third eye stuff is allusion due to the placement of the seal, and the Kanji would be: 白毫

a Buddist term referring to a characteristic of Buddha, his "third eye". It's translated as "fine white hair" because it is thought that Buddha physically had a whorl of hair in the middle of his forehead. However, Byakugou just refers to the "mark" on the forehead, which is seen usually as a spiral, dot, jewel, always on the middle of the forehead.

"B/Hyakugou" refers to Sakura's seal, not her technique. It happens to have the same pronunciation as Tsunade's. It might be an allusion because it looks like Sakura really does have the strength of one hundred haha, however, the Kanji is different!

Sakura has not released a technique, only formed a seal. It's safe to say there is more to come. Hope this helps!

It’s definitely possible that it would be spelled that way, which makes it very interesting to me because I’m not sure why it would be “Hyakugou”!

As for the response to what the furigana is in the raws scans

It’s very possible that Kishimoto just wanted to use the same Kanji as the allusion to the forehead diamond, but use different sounds for the Kanji!

I believe the reason for the “H” sound coming around would be because when  (white, pronounced “shiro”), when it is used with another Kanji, it’s sound becomes “Haku” haku-something.

I understand if Kishi would use 白豪 as “hakugou”.  はくごう

It would also separate it from Tsunade's technique and make it less confusing.

But I seriously do NOT understand it being “hyakugou” ひゃくごう

Whatever it's called, so far it seems to be a minor boost in strength.

Is it possible that Sakura has "strength of 100" in the form of a seal?

In a sense, her seal is more powerful than Tsunades.

haha! as for your questions as to how it should be translated, I cannot tell until I see the raw!

I have confirmed that it can either be Byakugou or Hakugou through Kanji, but I don't know where Hyakugou comes from.

Japanese is very hard to learn!

But it's definitely not Sakura's new technique. It's her new seal

ANyway does anyone know if the raws for the chapter are out?

I mean, let's look at the picture.

Sakura shattered the ground, and her strength increased drastically especially considering all of those dots are actually little Juubi clones. The explosion was wayyyy more massive, and the terrain even shot up. She bombed the ground with her fists pretty much. LOL

The thing is though, was she capable of this BEFORE the storing process that happened years ago, or after, because there not only seems to be an increase in power but an increase in speed also given she launched herself in the air, and actually met the same Juubi she launched across the field...

For the moment this is what I am interested more.

Now you guys peaked my curiosity with the real name, lol.

And I am currently searching to see if there are any raws out there.

Indeed, she did shatter a good portion of the battlefield.

I bet that little rock at Sasori's hideout is nothing to her now.s he could literally smash the wholve cave.

In comparison to Tsunade's most powerful attack, Heavenly Foot of Pain, which shattered a small Tanzaku Gai portion, Sakura literally smashed I think what could be called, half a city if we guide ourselves with the pictures.

I plan on making a post about that soon.

And yes, her speed increased AMAZINGLY!

Before she was a 3, I wonder how much i'd be now.

I kinda touched this in the chapter thread, but I'll bring it up for discussion here:

I've also been thinking that this is actually not Sakura's full potential. After all, the seal is kinda similar to a bank of chakra - Meaning that ever since the end of part 1, she has been fighting without her full potential because she has been dividing her chakra all this time (including in her fight with Sasori).

Now that she has her chakra stored, not only she can use her 100% in fights, but if she activates her diamond (so I think she can also use byakugou; hence the difference in the name at the moment), she may push herself even further.

At least that's what I understand from this chapter. Thoughts?

Shadow Wolf: I also think the same thing. Her enhanced strength is not her new ability, but an ability she has had all along but has not used to her full potential due to her needing to put in Chakra to this new seal.

For chapter 632, this is what grabbed my attention the most!

Edit: retraction! The Kanji is only an allusion to the Buddha's Byakugou (third eye)

.

The third eye has the ability to see past the suffering on Earth and look into the divine world. It is known as the "“Eye of Consciousness”, able to see through levels of reality. It is not a physical eye, but the eye of enlightenment.

I think it just refers to the shape and placement of the seal, but this meaning is also very interesting!

the funny thing is that not only Mangapanda did called as "Hyakugou" but even Mangastream. So it 100% possible that on the raw this seal is called by Kishimoto as "Hyakugou" thanks to furigana.

Hey everyone, I re-checked.

The Kanji that makes up the name for Sakura's seal is actually meaning "White Brush", but like Tsunade's Byakugou, it may mean "White Strength"

However, the furigana would still make sense for it to be byakugou or hakugou.

Edit Sorry for my mistake! I've retracted my statement, but i believe it's the illusion to Buddha that Kishi wanted. It was very clear when Kishi named Tsunade's attack "Byakugou" and Sakura's seal to be so similar.
