Damn..... My uncle passed away on monday, and now a few days later I find the creator of  my favorite childhood classic passed away. 

 

 

RIP Kazuki Takahashi 

 

 

you will definitely be missed, and you've meant a lot for my childhood as well as other people!

Been thinking about Yugi-Oh! a lot lately, and while I was going through the archives of my laptop, I came across an old fanfic I was working out and I was about 3 to 7 Chapters into writing it with about  4 Sagas Planned.

 

 

The title was:    Duel Island 

 

 

 

It would've essentially been Yu-Gi-Oh GX  when it came to the setting.  

 

 

The characters would've been completely OC  with only a few references to OG cast and even the characters from GX.   

 

 

 

 

I'm gonna revive this storyline and move forward with it in honor of Kazuki Takahashi's passing!

 

 

 

 

Ps,  I'm also thinking about tackling a special Yugi-Oh!  Livestream discussion.... It's gonna more so be a general chat talking about our favorite rendition of the card game,  and of course the different shows that have come out.

Been about a month since I've made the decision of reviving my old Yugioh Fanfic:  Duel Island, and there have been a few minor details I changed up...  It's more or less just the world building and the setting because it was a more generalized idea. 

 

However, I have officially reworked the first couple chapters thus far, and they are something I could share right away, but the truth is.... That's not the approach I've decided to take this time around. 

 

I wanna make sure I've got more chapters written in advance before I'm ready to post them again on a daily basis.... So think of it like this where you could get like 5-6 chapters a week, and in order for me to do achieve that I need to be at least 7 chapters ahead.

 

 

For example   (not confirmed btw): 

 

Sunday September 25th - Saturday October 1st 

 

 

Release chapters 1-6 back to back , and rework Chapters 7-13 

 

 

 

Sunday October 2nd  - Saturday October 8th 

 

 

Release chapters 7-13 back to back , and rework Chapters 14-20

 

 

 

The schedule format would be something along those lines. 

 

 

 

 

 

That aside, I've also been rewatching Yugioh with the little cousin and we were in the middle of Yugi vs Pegasus... Gonna plan on continuing that sometime tomorrow.
