I just realized... the fact that Nonou was able to quit Root without Danzou trying to kill her was interesting. Maybe this is Danzou's more humane side?? Either that, or Hiruzen prevented Danzou from doing anything.

Likely the later, just like Sasuke (and Naruto too for that matter) was protected from Danzo. They may have been emotionally neglected but protection and basic welfare were provided. In Nonou's case she had retired, like Tsunade, and it appears once a ninja retires they are free to go wherever they wish and do whatever they wish. (Tsunade was even skipping out on paying her gambling debts...) But because Nonou was unfortunately from Root, Danzo was able to force her back into service...

I'm sorry for asking,but what does it mean exactly? Some kind of contest? There are no magazines like "Shonen Jump" in my country so i don't really know what it looks like or what it talks about besides popular manga news.
