Yes, I realized that at the end, but once I started I couldn't stop. Sorry about that. 

 

But, yeah, I know exactly what you mean. SasuSaku and NaruHina fans will jump down your throat if you don't agree with their pairings, the ending, or pointing out any flaws that have to do with their pairings. It's just sad that they would accept canon this way. It's as if... they didn't settle for the very best. They just took whatever, as long as their pairing(s) were/was canon. 

 

I have no issue with those people who accept the faults of the series, my gripe is aimed at them, not those who admit the fault but know they are too far invested in it to let it go, I'm the same, I haven't given the manga up, if I had I wouldn't be here. I just refuse to financially support this series any more.

Yeah, but fans like that are rare. The beginning and middle of the manga were good. But that ending, it just makes me so angry when I think about it every time. I hear you, I refuse to buy anything Naruto related, it'll be considered I support the current Naruto and Boruto, which I don't. Never will.

Why hinata is more popular than sakura?
Hinata is likeable who love naruto and she's the only one who do that.
Sakura is unlikeable who hate naruto (intially) and love sasuke, while loved by naruto.

Hinata will not be the popular girl if kishi create another fangirl. Especially if that said fangirl is tsundere.

I don't understand why people a large fraction of the time hate tsunderes. Tsunderes make the anime world go round. I absolutely adore them. It's characters like Hinata I can't stand. The only exception is Yamato from My Love Story!!.

Actually tsundere is pretty much loved.
I don't think Sakura hate because solely that she's a tsundere character.

It was most likely because Sakura was getting in the way of NaruHina. But I guess she wasn't since Hinata pretty much got forced onto Naruto anyway. :/

I actually think antis accept canon more than pros. When I see NH and especially SS fanart, they are so happy and laughing. Sasuke is home with his wife and child, and Naruto is a happy family man and NH/SS go on doubledates etc. It is so so far from canon, so that is just proof that they are not canon the way they want to be, no matter how much they defend it. They don't challlenge the flaws in the ending in any way like a lot of antis do, they just go around it to keep their fantasy alive. But when I see SNS/SK/NS fanart, the interactions is either very considerate of the ending, or just like how the characters interacted before it, how they would act without retcon.

 

So, who is canon and not is more complicated than who married who and who kittened who.

Sakura feel because she couldn't get over Sasuke. Sure NH hated her because they saw her as a threat, but for the neutrals and others? It was because of Sasuke. All you had to do was vist NF back in the day, it was the one thing people hated about her after he tried killing her multiple times.

 

Course people gave Naruto kitten as well for that fact.

to be honest I think even amy rose from sonic could be considered a tsundere, I mean sure she doesn't hit sonic often but when she does its usually for him doing something stupid, especially for example in that one sonic riders game where he blew her away with eggman in the whirlwind when he was supposed to be saving her, and sonic x makes her seem even more like a tsundere.

 

heck even misty from pokemon is one, and she gets hate too, why the flip do people hate tsunderes so bad for the hitting, why can they seriously not understand its a joke and a form of slapstick?!!

People see what they want to see, if they see someone hit someone for comedy, they think it's abuse. I'm going to throw in a Naruto example: 

Sakura hits Naruto when he's being pervy or stupid, he's not hurt in end, he just looks really goofy with his face messed up or whatever. The chick that Chouji is now married to beats the crap out of Naruto when he's defending Sasuke.... THAT'S ABUSE. Naruto was bloody, bruised, and Sai had to get her to stop. Does anyone ever stop Sakura? No, because it's not even meant to be harm.... 

 

It seems all the tsunderes get hate from every show because they are "abusive" and don't take crap. That or they got a flat chest and act like too much of a tomboy. I believe the majority of the hate comes from fanboys that want some sweet, submissive woman with the main character, because they (the fanboys) usually view themselves as that character or want to be that character.

 

I seriously wonder if they think real life Japanese girls are like that, like they are all just a bunch of  big boobed, (sometimes) scattered brained, walking doormats.

For me, it depends on the amount of tsundere there is and, unfortunately, as mentioned, SP had to ratchet up Sakura's tsun side way too much in the anime while barely having any real dere moments. They made Sakura's tsundere level that of Louise in Zero no Tsukaima practically, but even Louise at least had some good dere moments.

Ones like Rin in the Fate series, or Tomoe in Absolute Duo, and such are more my kind of tsundere. Sure they'll try to act tough, strict, angry, etc., clearly hiding their real feelings, but they also don't go flying off the handle (exaggerated or otherwise) at almost every little (cliche) misunderstanding, and if they do end up overreacting at a misunderstanding and learn that's all it was, they'll usually apologize and try to make up for it (grudgingly, depending on the amount of tsundere).

She doesn't have Dere side in the manga, she's more normal girl than a tsundere archetype. Kurama is tsundere.

But I still don't see that as the reason for why sakura is a tsundere.

The basic definition of tsundere...

Tsundere (ツンデレ ^?, pronounced [tsɯndeɽe]) is a Japanese character development process that describes a person who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing their warm side over time.

...I think that perfectly describes how Sakura was with Naruto until the middle of part two, when all that development was flushed.


But whoever said Sakura was a dandere or kuudere is just a weeaboo moron.

A dandere is a character archtype that entails someone being quiet which is usually associated with shyness. "Dan" comes from the word "danmari" which means silent and taciturn. "Dere" means to become "lovey dovey"

Not to be confused with Kuudere which is a cool person that becomes lovey dovey. They are very similar in appearance and possibly behavior, but their underlying character reasoning is different. Being silent for the sake of being silent vs being cool


...this is far more Hinata (but in a bad, annoying way).


Kuudere.

An anime/manga slang term for a character that is cold, blunt, cynical, and pretty much doesn't care if her beloved dies. That's what she is on the outside but she is actually caring and nice on the inside.

Differs from tsundere since tsundere is when the character frequently runs hot and cold between tsun and dere. Kuudere is when the character only occasionally shows her caring side.


...not Sakura at all either. If anything, this is what would describe Shino or, initially anyway, Sasuke.
