I think it kind of makes sense. It may be far-fetched, but its kinda legit. The internet is one of the only places left where we're exposed to the honest truth (since I don't really trust television anymore, too much bias) and a place that you can bring attention to issues that would normally never get attention were it not on the internet. Places like twitter and facebook bring a lot of attention to good causes, (iran protests anyone?) and with the right actions it can spread peace. Obviously, there's going to be corruption in everything, but still...it would be kind of cool if it won.

Actually, I think I'm more OK with this than I was about Obama... XD
I mean at least we have the opportunity to Skype/chat/Tweet/Wall-to-wall with people in other countries and make efforts to be exposed to one another and maybe understand one another.

Agreed!! as well as bringing peace as a theme in manga, plus inspiring us that peace is possible & the chain of hatred can be broken.
