About Me

It's been a few years since I've last been active here. I'll update some facts about myself for those who're curious.

I go by "Yvette," and I first joined when I discovered there was a such thing as a "NaruSaku Community;" it was my first self-proclaimed OTP (and still is even after the disappointing 699/700). I was also pretty active on FF, where I currently go by the pen-name The Sincerities. Recently I haven't been posting as frequently just due to the lack of inspiration, as well as for my nasty case of Writer's block. I still hope that lessens because I quite enjoyed those days of writing. Nevertheless, I've been slightly moved to go back to writing some NaruSaku, so hopefully that's something to look forward to and welcome in the near future.

Other fun-facts...

I do watch some other anime here and there, and I've currently been preoccupying myself by reading Sailor Moon simply out of nostalgia. Outside of those things I like to draw and experiment with different art/techniques; sadly, I was never really able to master editing on a laptop or PC through programs though... It was kind of cumbersome for me personally and it didn't gain much of my interest.

More personally, I'm a fan of stationary (ie. things like pens, pencils, paper, notebooks), a huge cat-lover but also an animal lover (big dogs <3); I like the color red, still happen to enjoy watching cartoons (especially on CN). Uhh, things like those. Very random... hopefully informative in some sort of way.

Despite the extremely disappointing representation she was given in 699/700, Sakura has been and remains one of my favorite characters. I'd rather not spend time explaining myself. Maybe you can call it denial because the amount of dissatisfaction I felt in those final chapters causes me to reject (ignore?) them and focus on the wonderful character she grew to be (before Kishimoto burned that all away illogically and shamefully, whatever his reasons, if any, may be).

For now, I think that'll do. I'm always welcome to new faces to chat with, so PMs are welcome and such :)
