I started writing Challenge 1 but I'm probably going to scrap it because I didn't like where I went w/ it. The idea of starting after they get married makes things a bit harder (I guess that's why it's a challenge) but I have ideas for it.
Naruto was blissfully in a state of unconsciousness when a draft of cool air hit his body. He turned into his pillow, his legs brushing up against him with a soft grunt. The pillow was warm, soft and...
Wait a second.
Naruto frowned, his eyes remaining shut as he felt the pillow expand and contract against his body. He squeezed his pillow.
“Nngh,” it responded.
Well, that was strange; Naruto knew that pillows weren't supposed to make odd noises when you squeezed them, but he was too tired to make any sort of logic from the observation. He inched closer and buried his face into soft supple flesh.
Wait a second what? His hands were gripping something and he squeezed without thinking.
“NARUTO!”
Naruto shot awake and to his horror he realized his 'pillow' was not a pillow. He looked down at his hands that were grabbing a handful of...breasts?!
For a second his mind turned in to mush. This was great! However the killer intent smashed through his testosterone-induced stupor and Naruto's survival instincts finally kicked in. “Oh kitten!” Naruto hissed, releasing his hands as if they were over flames.
He then managed to direct his attention to the girl in his bed. The girl had pink hair tousled by sleep and green eyes that were smoldering with anger. “What happened?!”
“Sa-sa-sakura-chan?!” Naruto croaked. “How did you get here?”
Sakura's hands flew up to clench her head. “What do you mean how did I get here? How did you get he—!”
Sakura's mouth abruptly closed as swept the room. Her large brow wrinkled in confusion. “Where is here?”
“Huh?”
Following Sakura's suit, Naruto looked around. The walls were painted a deep red. To his left was a nightstand, two green glasses half filled with blood red liquid lay on it. Even though it must have been morning, the curtains were closed and the only lighting they had was from a chandelier hanging over their heads, candles burning away.
Well, this wasn't his bedroom.
Naruto clambered out of the bed and immediately his head exploded, or at least it felt like it did. “Oh god...” Naruto moaned, as he felt his temple throbbing.
The blond sat back down a hand pressing against his temple.
“What is it?” Sakura asked.
Naruto felt the bed shift slightly as Sakura crawled over to Naruto's side. She reached out her arms and cupped his cheeks. “Here, let me.” she said as her hands began to glow green.
His face felt warm, and it wasn't just the blood rushing to his cheeks from Sakura's touch. Soon enough the dull throb disappeared and the glare seemed to dim. Naruto stared at Sakura staring back at him. For a moment they lay there, not making a word. Sakura thumb brushed at a whisker which mean Naruto shiver. “Sakura...”
Sakura blinked as if awoken from a dream and her arms shot away from his face and into her lap. She adjusted to a sitting position on the bed. “I think I remember now.”
Naruto did notice the abrupt change in subject but he wasn't sure he wanted to press Sakura so he let it go. “What happened?”
“We got married.”
“Huh, what?!”
“We got married.”
Naruto thought back and then it hit him.

“And now I offer you here today this lovely woman to be your wife.”
Naruto turned to look at Sakura but the kunai pointed at his jugular prevented him from saying anything. He froze and gulped. “Boy,” Ken Haruno growled. “If you to live, you'd better say 'I do' before even thinking about looking at my baby girl.”
“O-okay!” Naruto stammered.
“What was that?!"
“I mean I-I do!”
“That's better.”
“If anyone rejects this marriage speak now or forever hold your peace...”
“Just marry them goddammit!” the pink haired man shouted at the minister.
Sakura pulled a grimace and gestured in a pleading manner to her father. “Daddy, don't you think this is too hasty?”
Naruto began to nod furiously but the kunai at his throat pressed closer. A drop of blood from a prick leaked out. “Urk!”
“Daddy!”
“Honey, this is for the best. Just say 'I do' and we can get out of here.”
* * * * *
“I even have a nice hotel for the both of you,” Naruto mimicked his face pinched like he bit something sour. “Argh!”
Naruto flopped over backwards on to the king sized bed. “Oh man!” Naruto groaned. “Your father is an absolute lunatic.”
Sakura sighed. She loved her father, but she knew his overprotective streak ran deep and intense. She let herself fall over backwards so that her head was lying on Naruto's stomach. “Oof,” Naruto grunted surprised at the sudden weight.
“Hey,” Sakura chided, “I'm not that heavy.”
“Of course you aren't!”
Sakura wrinkled her nose and then laughed. She felt the tenseness under her head slowly melt away as Naruto began to breathe again. They fell into a comfortable silence and Sakura was almost tempted to fall back asleep.
Just as her eyes fluttered shut, Naruto spoke. “So, we're married.”
“Yeah.”
“...Wow.”
“Yeah.”
“Is that okay?”
Sakura paused and thought about it. Everything was such a blur and her mind was doing all it could to catch up and process the information. Sakura thought about being married, and she fingered the cheap gold band that her father had gotten at the local pawn shop as he dragged both of them to the nearest marriage clerk. Somehow when she thought about being married, this did not come to mind.
Then again in all her girlhood dreams about the topic, Naruto never figured in them. 'I guess he's not the number one surprising ninja for nothing...'
Naruto had become something different to her. She would have said, a friend, if it wouldn't have been completely redundant. She had grown so comfortable around his presence yet there was an underlying tension that made every moment sizzle with energy. In retrospect, Sakura knew they would have succumbed to it eventually.
“I...don't know,” Sakura replied.
Naruto didn't respond right away an Sakura turned herself around so her chin was resting on his stomach. She looked up at Naruto's face. “Naruto?”
“Huh? Oh, it's okay. I'm not sure neither.”
“Either.” Sakura poked his stomach for emphasis.
Naruto squirmed under her fingers and a particularly devious look formed on Sakura's face. She began to tickle, which made Naruto sit up abruptly. “Hey Sakura-chan, unfair!”
He tried lunging for her but Sakura took advantage of the opening between his under arms and began to tickle him furiously.
