Mmm... I miss Itachi already

It felt like there were a few unnecessary bits though, like... 15 second shots of rocks >_>

Hopefully, the episode after next will be heartwrenching... maybe I just lack emotional stimulus, but I thought this episode would be sad... at least for me it's not.

I've always wondered what disease Itachi had... coughing up blood is... neh, tuberculosis? I have no clue...lol

It was a good episode and a good conclusion to the battle. the only thing that got me was for some reason maybe it was the music but Itachis final moments should have been more emotionally moving for me and it wasnt. not compared to Jiraiyas finale.

Yea just finished watched it, was an ok episode but like catsi563 said, itachi's death should of been more emotionally moving. even tho he was a bad guy.

Somehow knowing what was going to happen seemed to be the tiny problem with this episode. Otherwise, animation and scale was top-notch, although they could have done something about pacing.

The Pain arc must be even better and bigger than this so that we can see the Rinnegan's power in all their glory (along with SM Naruto of course!).

Man i haven't watched the anime in so long I've been sticking with the manga and just watching this episode shows me why i used to watch the anime...to see how epic stuff is. Watching me just makes me giddy to see the naruto vs. pain episodes.

While I don't care much for this particular arc, I have to admit, with color and animation, Itachi's Susanoo looks much better than it did in the manga. It actually looks like an ultimate technique, rather than a bad grade school drawing.

But I just can't bring myself to feel anything for Itachi's death. I don't care what his circumstances were, the fact is, he murdered his own parents. That's not a forgivable offense to me.

yeah, i would have liked Itachi's final moments more moving, like Jiraiya's, but with Jiraiya we got to go inside his head which allowed for more emotion. With Itachi, we didn't get that so i think they did get it pretty good. I also look back on when i read this in the manga and considered why it seemed even more moving than the anime. I think it is because when reading the manga, all we get is the text and periodical visuals, allowing our minds to create and fill the spaces, making it as emotional as we wanted it; with the anime there is complete visuals and voices and music, leaving nothing to the imagination.

I liked Itachi's Susanno animated but I'm looking more toward Naruto Vs. Pein.
