Hey guys.

I've recently broke my humerous bone ( between the shoulder and the elbw). And I've been wondering if any of you have any tips for to help it heal faster.

Any good tips really appriciated.

Having had several broken bones, I know the annoyance they cause.

One of the best pieces of advice I can give you is to make sure you follow all of your doctor's directions. They want you to get well, ya know.

Try and stop doing anything that's really bad for you, like smoking. It screws with your blood flow.

Keep a healthy diet. You need the nutrients and vitamins.

The most important thing, though, is to rest and be patient. It'll take time. It just does.

Drink lots of milk.
It'll give you strong bones.

Just keep the arm as immobile as possible (hence casting). But also, get lots of extra sleep. Sleep is normally when the body accelerates the healing process. It helps with muscle regrowth as well for anyone out there that plays sports. smile.gif

And as always, get plenty of your daily nutrients so your body has the tools required to repair itself. Good luck!

Yes, it does give you strong bones. But it doesn't help with the healing of broken bones at all. That's a myth.
