#929873 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Posted by Iwantbuns on 04 January 2017 - 10:50 PM

Isn't it hilarious how Kishi was like.. I'm probably gonna make only one pairing happen. And then the ending is just liiiike... LOL a bajillion gazillion pairings all squeezed into the very last chapter.  I just remembered this

#929663 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Posted by Iwantbuns on 01 January 2017 - 01:37 AM

So I realized something... I think Sakura's hairstyle right now covers her forehead, making it seem like she's self-conscious about her forehead/appearance again (because of Sasuke). Right? That sucks..

#929573 This New Theory 100% Proves That Kishimoto Is Putting NaruSaku and SasuHina I...

Posted by Iwantbuns on 30 December 2016 - 07:33 PM

Yeah... NaruHina and SasuSaku are already majorly canon, sealed with their children. I think I've accepted it by now... When I read the Boruto manga I felt it so easy to just disregard characters like Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata. They were all consistently out of character. Sasuke stayed in character making it nice to read about him, because he acts like Sakura and Salad barely exist... Sasuke mostly just goes on and on about Naruto.

So yeah. There's really no going back at this point. I can judge everything until chapter 698 canon, because Sakura is majorly depressed when it comes to Sasuke throughout. And then chapter 700 comes and Sakura's all happy and fangirly lol. It's hilarious how bad the ending was..

#915511 Sasuke And Hinata Theory: The Emperor And The Empress

Posted by Iwantbuns on 17 July 2016 - 03:05 PM

Wow. Since when did narusaku.com start getting so negative and unfriendly? I don't see anything wrong with this SasuHina post, and the people here are being incredibly rude. This post made me smile, because I was enlightened to see more proof for one of my very cherished otps. And what do I see? People posting things that downgrade the post, without actually commenting about the post itself. I think it's a very interesting theory.

I'm getting kind of really disappointed in this fandom. Who cares how the manga ended? We all know it doesn't make sense, so there's honestly nothing else to complain about. We have the whole manga as our proof. And just because Kishi misused Sasuke and Hinata's characters, it doesn't mean that they are bad characters. Every single character in Naruto has their good and bad traits. But the posts I'm seeing here are just full of hate. There's nothing good about that.

BestSasuHinaSupporter, I am very sorry for the way people reacted towards your post. I think it was a very well-thought out post, and your opinions had no right to be bashed on for no reason.

#895003 Kishi Made Us Hate Sakura? What do you think

Posted by Iwantbuns on 26 December 2015 - 07:14 PM

The show ended up being pretty negative towards Sakura... sort of provoking us to hate her.

#886653 I remember when...

Posted by Iwantbuns on 11 November 2015 - 06:35 PM

If Kishi's a sell out... then anyone's a sell out. Honestly when you're making anything that's long and awesome, you get to a point where you can't really go much further with the ideas. It has to make a 180 degree turn in the storyline to either make it different and awesome, or different and wrong. I don't know how much sense this makes, but I watch like a lot of tv shows and books... and it usually starts really good, but eventually comes to a point where it goes downhill even though it may not seem like it. Kishi's story was very long and dragged out, and in all truth he was doing everything he was doing for money. The storyline had to continue being good. Romance wasn't really his concern. Bonds and stuff... he added that in very well, but he really didn't bother delving into the more romantic parts of the story. He sort of just let that part of the storyline continue hanging around. The reason for this is simply because he just can't write romance, and he's said that many times. And Naruto is in no way a romance.

And that's completely fine with me. Which is why he shouldn't have made the biggest mistake ever by ending his whole show on an element in the story that was never even relevant. It's good to show who gets with who, that's important, but that's not a real ending. At all. It's like... he just wanted to be done with it. Because he basically ended with where they were and just flashforwarded it to the future, on all the pairings. It's not a very fulfilling ending. And what killed it was The Last movie - a movie soully based on Naruto and Hinata falling in love with a bunch of weird NaruHina flashbacks that made no sense. All the characters acted completely different to make the love story make more sense. But it didn't. The whole movie was a big terrible romance thing - and that's how Naruto ended. And I can't see how anyone can be satisfied with that.

I would do well with a non-romance ending based on what Naruto is really about. I don't care what pairings would have been canon, but the way it ended was literally ALL about pairings. What exactly did Kishi want to accomplish??

#882640 Whats your OTP now that NS was given the pipe?

Posted by Iwantbuns on 18 October 2015 - 03:13 AM

I love too many ships from too many fandoms.... The only ship I ever officially labeled as an OTP was SasuHina xD I think I may like SasuNaru more though? NaruSaku was always one of my casual ships. I don't know how I even got this deep into it... Like sometimes I'd rationalize that NaruSaku did indeed make sense, even if it wasn't my favorite. But as time went on, the manga convinced me more and more, that NaruSaku was like THE main pairing of the series. And it actually ended up being hella cute. And what seriously seriously drew me to it, and made me want to never look back, was the fact that it just had soooo much evidence. I seriously  things that can be proven with a ton of evidence, how the manga just developed their relationship sooo well - and having the implications of romance be kept in tact throughout the whole thing was just AWESOME.

Ugh why me.

:sweatdrop:

#882460 Kishi Shonen Jump interview

Posted by Iwantbuns on 17 October 2015 - 04:40 AM

No author should listen so carefully and happily over some random youtube fan dude who "reviews" rather than actually looking at real critiques or something. Most youtube reviewers are jokes, with really loud opinions. I never listen to youtube reviews. Instead of trying to get feedback from fanboys, he should try to review his own work, and do what he wants and not have it be affected by what others want. Cause 99% of the time the storyline that is originally created by an author is much better for the story than just flying by on what people want from him.

#878808 Blaming Sakura

Posted by Iwantbuns on 27 September 2015 - 05:19 PM

Sasuke could've been a really cool villain... I mean he has a freaking sharingan and rinnegan. That's reeeeally cool.

But here's what I'm thinking. Is Sasuke justified for his choices/actions? I mean, Naruto may not have taken Sasuke's path, but isn't that because what happened to Sasuke was just wayyy worse than anything that could've happened to anybody? I mean he was a kid when Itachi killed his whole family. And as he grows as a teen it still haunted him - I mean something like that can really negatively affect a person. I.e. Itachi just comes back to him, beats him up some more, and pushes the issue even further (in Part 1). It must've drove him crazy. He was still young throughout the whole series. He did everything he could to live a life that could've been happy while still having revenge.

But that just wasn't possible. Seriously, what could he have done to reach his goal? He needed to get stronger, and Itachi's shadow loomed over him every step of the way, and the emo-ness of his family dying can never possibly make anyone have an optimistic personality and make a person be nice to everyone. And it's not like he was a bully. He was just a guy who kept to himself and didn't want to be bothered. It's not his fault that everyone loved him, and tried to get in his life. He just made those people feel horrible in the end, because he's just naturally dismissing. They just can't understand why he's so cold and decide that's just a cool aspect of his character - when it goes much deeper than that.

Sakura for example, knows of Sasuke's past life. But she still doesn't understand him. I'm not saying her family's gotta die, I'm saying he never lets her in, plainly because of her approach. Sakura approaches him in a romantic way, and when she does that, all she can think about is herself. Sakura can also be a little desperate, and sometimes her crazy wild side can slip out, and that probably turns Sasuke away from her. He still cares about her, but never in a personal level. Naruto's an exception... because he sort of forces his friendship on him in that Naruto sort of way that everyone loves. His morals or so positive and so different from Sasuke's, and that makes Sasuke come to Naruto. Naruto does great things that surprises everyone despite everyone looking down on him. It's not just Naruto's past life... because Naruto doesn't try to let his past define him. And in all realness, his past isn't nearly as horrible as Sasuke's was.

Naruto and Sakura both gave Sasuke the kind of companionship he needed... but he was still too far down in the darkness. It couldn't be easy to just change paths, when the choices that he made were just too big, and he was wayyy crazy at that point in Part 2.

What I'm saying is that... yes Sasuke hurts everyone around him. But is he to blame? I feel like he's a victim more than anything. Idk. I'm still thinking about all this. People like Sakura and almost everyone else just push themselves into his drama, without actually trying to stop and understand him. They're just hurting themselves, and only thinking about themselves. "Loving" someone goes deeper than desperately trying to take that person for themselves, and hurting themselves pointlessly in the process. "Loving" someone has to involve caring about both parties. Sakura just plain never understood Sasuke. Which is why I feel in the end, Sasuke really didn't get the happy ending I really truly feel he deserved.

I'm not really sure what point I'm trying to get across... I guess I'm kind of saying that this is kind of the reason why Sasuke's popular? Like even though he did a lot of damage towards people, he was just really too far gone... and his reasons are really.. good.

#878661 How Did Hinata become so popular?

Posted by Iwantbuns on 27 September 2015 - 12:02 AM

Hinata got popular cause she's totally different from all the girl characters. For once she's not a girl who cares about her appearance, and/or impressing Sasuke. She's way kind and sweet, and cares about people for more than just their appearance. She's a nice character, the only girl who had a crush on Naruto, and believed in him from the beginning. I mean, sure she did nothing to him or for him since it was all internal, but it shows a lot about what kind of character she is.

Her development isn't that great, but for the mostpart she didn't need much development as a person. She was kind and genuine from the start. And she always tried her best to improve herself whether or not the inspiration came from Naruto. Honestly all the girls in Naruto have great goals and personalities, but Hinata's just different.

She's more calmer and peaceful, while most of the other girls were more boisterous and out there. Hinata stands out in a different way - in my opinion, it's very likable. Sure she has stuttering issues, and sometimes is a little too quiet or shy... But it's a lot harder to become more louder and firm, when you're naturally just... a tad bit shy. It's much easier for people who are loud and wild to calm themselves and have their silent moments. But the other way around is harder. That's why whenever Hinata does do something to stand up for others (it's rarely ever herself), it's something that people can be proud of her for. It's something that others could possibly relate to too, in the same way Naruto inspires others as well.

That's why (imo) Hinata's popular. However I don't particularly like the way they made her popular in the end. Naruto and Hinata have like zero chemistry... and there's more to Hinata's character than just having a little internal crush on Naruto.

#874799 My Reflection on Naruto

Very true words :) This is a really nice post - it made me smile >.< I'm glad Naruto got that happy ending in the end, too.
