Anyone think its a nod to this:

I mean, it could be? It surely is popular in Japan as well, and for Naruto to be ending Kishi could be passing the torch to the next great hit.

lol i said something about that in the debate thread. that scarf is eren and mikasa's red thread of fate. it's no wonder she always wears it.

Out of nowhere the NH fans say the scarf had something to do with Hinata I was like what? I'm confused? Then they want Hinata to be pregnant in the movie with Naruto's baby

Idk it was a rumor that was started by a NH fan and then NH fans started to believe that person

We don't know what it symbolizes.  Although it was a pairing tease from the movie twitter because they linked the scarf and Hinata together. But they teased NS too didn't they? "Naruto surely..." I wouldn't be surprised if SS got teased next.
