An interesting thought occurred to me regarding Sasukes future.

I think the possibility exists that he may reform the akatsuki but do so in a manner consistent with Nagato and Yahikos original beliefs, His goal to change the ninaj system for the better in his own way and do away with the old system that lead to such hatred.

Should answer the majority of questions for why they will most likely end up together.

For me I think its also part of a cycle that was begun in Chapter 3 with Sasukes introduction and Sakuras.

I feel like Naruto and Sasuke are switching places in the manga so to speak.

to clarify that. Sasuke when he started was the popular one, the hero, the cool guy the one all the girls--including Sakura-- wanted.

Naruto was the outcast, the pariah, the guy no one wanted the uncool guy.

It is easy to see how Naruto could have ended up the Villain. He chooses another path though the one of the hero. Sasuke though chooses a path of revenge against the advice of those wiser then him.

This causes the two to begin a slow steady juxtaposition with each other. As Naruto slowly earns respect while Sasuke slowly sheds it.

the end result is that in the end Naruto is going to be the hero and the guy everybody loves, while Sasuke is the guy who has to start from scratch., Rebuild all his bridges and relationships from ground zero, and re earn the trust of all around him.

Where Karin fits into that is that she was the eyes for us to see Sasukes fall into darkness, with his final act of betrayal being the moment where Sasuke takes the last person he trusts and casts her aside.

So Karin is the perso he MOST needs to rebuild the foundation of trust with. The foundation that Naruto has built with Sakura over the length and breadth of the story.

there is also the notion of letting Naruto grow to become his own person, not the Son of the Hero. When hes the son of the hero, the son of the 4th hokage that always colors his upbringing and the expectations put upon him.

Without that he grew up with no expectations from anyone, and thusly he continued to constantly surprise and shock people with how amazing he was.

adding a quick update here but if anyones curious, the English dub is up to episode 201 via Neon Alley or other sites. Watched it and the moment was well played Kate Higgins did a great job expressing the emotion of the moment when Sai tells her Naruto loves her.

Sclass you seem to have not read kanaes tumblr post. You're holding that one incident as over all OMG that's it proof. if that was the case then we might as well lump sasuke as forever tainted and Naruto should rasenshuriken him at earliest opportunity.

and for both you and Alexander have drasticly mis read Karins character if you think shes the same as Sakura part 1. She couldn't be more different.

Also he did not revert her, as Kanae clearly shows she never changed and in the moment when he apologizes to her and she says allright it is sown that she was angry.

And Sasuke was worried.

this is one of the few moments where Sasuke got the Tsundere treatment.

I strongly urge you to re read Kanaes Tumblr post, and her Amazing Manifesto which is as good in its own way as heronites NaruSaku manifesto.

My thought remains the same. Sasuke is on a path to switch places with Naruto. In the end Sasuke is going to be near Karin and attempting to rebuild his place with her and the trust they shared.

As I said above a few posts they seem to see it from a story perspective. They understand its development and place in the story well enough and while it ahs both its uber fans and detractors its understood.

Ep 320 should be a new ending

 

 key member. Yes and no. Yes, in that she was clearly the vehilce that was use. No, in that she was in no way indispendsible to this. Nothing about her status within the team or to Sasuke seemed to have much importance to that event. The last few chapters make special efforts to emphasize this. If she matters that much then it's real hard to justify what Kishimoto has done with her last two appearances.
 

IM sorry but this is entirely incorrect.

Karin was established as an equal to sasuke and an important part of his team. She was the only member of Taka that to this date in the story Sasuke said and I quote. "I need you."

Naruto has never said nor was hinata ever established as an equal to or needed by Naruto in any way shape or form. Even her greatest moment arguably her confession, was a moment that any number of people could have been a part of and had equal or greater emotional impact.

Karin was established early as the person who was closest to him , shown in  much the same way as Naruto and Sakura, through the manga by the way she and Sasuke were always in proximity to each other or speaking about the other in some fashion.

It is that closeness shown that really drives the final moment of that betrayal and makes it truly poignant as compared to Hinatas failure against Pein which we all know would have been even greater in scope had Iruka, or Sakura been involved.

I am really curious what they are going to do on that site when Naruto and Sakura confirm feelings for each other, and Sakura confirms that she has had feelings for him as far back as when he made the POAL.

Even more so if she confirms that she was always honest at the confession--we know she was--and he confirms it to.

I wonder if they'll adjust the page to remove the incessant she loves/loved/still loves sasuke that's prevalent

Kanaes http://kanae-mizuhit....com/32782.html amazing journal was what caught my eye first. after reading it, and then studying the chapters and karins appearances I saw exactly where she was coming from, and became a near instant fan.

I think part of what really drew me in though was the what happened between them over that 2 and 1/2  yeah time frame. Suigetsu and others have hinted rather unsubtly that a number of events occurred. These events left me with a hunger to find more about them.

The relationship also in many ways was amazingly developed over its very short time frame. Karin struck me as a truly fascinating character. Someone who could stand toe to toe with Sasuke and tell him off  and Sasukes only reaction would be to take it.

The balance between the two was something I had only seen between Naruto and Sakura and it was areal defining characteristic that I enjoyed.

weak chakra reserves my rear end. Shes canonically proven she has wider reserves then many thought  she did. Shizunes statement of her mastering the mass healing technique alone proves this.

Not to mention her summoning of Katsuyu.

I stand by my original statement I think Sakuras reserves have long been underestimated and mistaken for her actual stamina when theyre 2 different things.

If slug sage mode is coming she will have mastered it already  just never put it into play.

I think her chakra control being so perfect is precisely WHY she can do what shes doing.

She is the prime example of Maximum effect for minimum effort. AndNo she does not have nor need enormous chakra reserves.

in point of fact I believe that a lot of people drastically underestimate her natural reserves as it is. She was never weak in that regard she just never had any special jutsu to use it on.

Sakura I would actualy postulate had at the beginning what I would call average chakra reserves possibly slightly below average reserves for a ninja of her age and ranking. those reserves expanded normally to chunin levels and are now I would say Normal Jonin levels.

But because of her Near perfect control she is able to use jutsu and skills that would leave most shinobi doing the same exhausted.

Not to mention that she did not restore Narutos Chakra she simply healed him back to full health.

Just re read the chapter again and I am noe further convinced that my original theory holds truth.

Sakura has not released the seal nor has she revealed her full power yet.

She is basically doing what she was able to do in part 1 channel chakra for speed--vrs ino in the chunin exams--and channel it for strength--part 2.

This is basically Sakura not having part of her chakra being drained for the seal. Shes just cutting loose now that the seal is fully charged and ready.

When she releases the seal shes going to skyrocket in power.
