lol I doubt there's some secret conspiracy regarding Pierrot or the animation team, donjoseph. They give pairing fanservice as they see fit, and sometimes it fluctuates between the characters. I don't think its something they take seriously, but mostly do this in order to gain the interest of the audience.

Kishi has not made an official pairing yet, so I do think these teases by the anime, for all the major pairings, will stay as is until the mangaka resolves the issue. Its alright to be displeased when they do something in favor of a rival pairing, but we all love it when the anime does something nice for NaruSaku, right?. Its not something to be stressed over, as every dog has their day with Pierrot.

I think Kishimoto's fanservicing (of both the male and female characters) here looks much more visually appealing.

I do think it's amusing that Naruto and Sakura are the least fanserviced of the characters there- you see the least of their bodies- just arms and shoulders with only a tiny bit of the upper chest... I also think it's funny that Rock Lee and Chouji get the most fan servicing of all the characters.

Really? One Piece Luffy/Namy fanservice I thought Oda said there wouldn't be any romance in OP. No complaints though.

But I don't think any of this kind of NaruHina fanservice has been done right? (Assuming the DVD-cover is not real)

I hope for the next DVD cover they have Naruto, Kiba, Shikamaru, and Neji in shorts without their shirts on. Oh, and Naruto will have a little Sakura keychain.

Don't know if I am being biased but I think Sakura looks ok. Even in this pic I still don't find Hinata attractive in this. Sorry for the late post.

This one looks the best drawn of the three. The artist manages to lessen the weird factor of Rock Lee's face, and Neiji looks like a male idol singer or something like that...

After doing a little research on the DVD cover apparently it has to do with the filler episodes where Naruto's at sea hence why the girls are wearing bathing suits. happy.gif
