But anyway we all know neither Naruto or Sasuke will die, although I would love to see Sasuke receiving a very painful death. There won't be a fight with Sasuke at the brink of going blind almost out of chakra and Madara and Zetsu already with him. He will eventually get away and Naruto will have no choice but to get stronger hopefully he will have that training that Kishi mentioned in the interview and finally I would like him and Sakura to talk things out about everything that has happened.
I don't think we know one of them is going to die. They don't really have to the story could be written with both of them living as long as it's done correctly. But I'm just ready for cool down chapters to be honest the ones where everyones back at Konoha and you get to see some of there life actually take place. They have been away from Konoha for what seems ages but in Manga land probly has not been that long.

Seriously, I really want to see Sakura reaction after all of this. I mean, she want to kill Sasuke to protect Naruto and she fail to do it. I really think that hearing what Naruto said to Sasuke could motivate her ro become stronger so that, the next time, she could really protect him.
Let's just hope Kishi is honest and focus more on Sakura's heroine role, I mean one punch from her can destroy a mountain she's no weakling but Kishi is making her look like she's weak and useless when we all know she's anything but weak.

... Her and Naruto are one in the same right now in terms of one-trackedness... I hope Naruto doesn't cry next chapter. The actual context of what he is saying is a little bit better than what I thought, but it's still frustrating.
Preparing the Rinnegan? Was she referring to the eye of the moon plan, or whatever it's called?

Well I think she is physically strong but inside she is a softy. I think that's the reason she always hit Naruto was to show that deep down she's really different then she shows to everyone else. As far as showing how strong of a Ninja she is we have saw that before and I assume before long we will see it again.

It's right there in the panel, she's crying over Naruto. Good grief, she confessed her love to Naruto, went to attempt to kill Sasuke to protect Naruto. It's Naruto that needs to step up, not Sakura. At least Sakura attempted to kill Sasuke, which is better than even Kakashi, who was still trying to reason with Sasuke. Sakura knows who she's in love with- Naruto, it's right there in the manga. Her thoughts aren't a mystery, they've been right there in the manga. Sakura has a few remnant feelings about Sasuke as he was back when they were all Genin, but that's it, completely separate from her intensely deep love for Naruto. Sakura has no more illusions about Sasuke being redeemable, which is further than even Kakashi had reached before this fight, even while Kakashi fought Sasuke he still was holding on to that but getting more and more doubtful. Naruto still appears to be holding on to that.
There will be no battle between Naruto and Sasuke right now. Madara will take Sasuke away. Is that Karin I see sitting on the ground next to the wall with them in one spoiler pic? My guess is she'll be taken with them without her consent, and forced to heal Sasuke again. Remember, Madara said her ability was useful and she knew too much.

To put it simple and clear Naruto needs to grow up and open his eyes to see that not all people can be save with his words.

his thought process is that how can he save a complete stranger or even a village full fo complete strangers if he cant even save someone who is like a friend or brother to him.
while its an admirable goal, and I can understand it. i would like to see him get a lesson on perspective from someone like tsunade about such things.

I think you miss understood my point, I have no doubts at all that Sakura loves Naruto and the confession was genuine. I was referring to the fact that Sakura has been used as the damsel of distress. I wanted to see further proof of her being successful for once as In doing something successful for Naruto and change Naruto's current way of thinking "we'll die together" speech. As for the manga panel I couldn't tell if she was sad of Naruto or Sasuke because it showed a panel with Sasuke's head down when she looked sad.

I actually agree with that assessment Chivalrysae. its a resonable one and based on narutos attitude one hed likely take. Naruto is the type to go all out and as long as Sakura is in danger much less the leaf village he will put evrything even his life on the line.

They really haven't fought or sparred in a while so Naruto has no idea how powerful Sasuke is and likewise with Sasuke. All he knows is Sasuke defeated the recently appointed Leaf Hokage. And I think there's a ninja rule that you shouldn't underestimate your opponents. Naruto's normally cocky, but this fight's personal. And it seems that Naruto acknowledges Sasuke as an equal as far as ability.
Plus, if there is any chance of Sasuke changing his mind, telling him he will flat out be beaten by Naruto wouldn't help.

yeah i guess thats true.
So it looks like Sasuke will end up getting the rinnegan and thus be able to sync up to Gedo Mazo. I'm glad there's still a lot left to do in this manga, at least Kishi is still making a bunch of different plot twist that add more to the story.
Can't wait to get back from work tonight to read the full chapter, if its out by then

I totally agreed with you.
To me, I think that Naruto truly understand the situation. He still want to save Sasuke, he still continue to preach Sasuke's salvation but if Sasuke intend to destroy Konoha, Naruto will be there to stop him to achieve that goal and will suffer the full impact of Sasuke's hatred toward the leaf village and protect Konoha of all cost.
