Well you have to look at four families as reference.

 

SS. Since Sakura raised Sarada on her own it gives you a sense how she would raise her children and how they would turn out whether she is with anyone or not.

 

Kizaishi and Mebuki from what little we seen of them Mebuki is the strict authority figure and sets the rules while Kizaishi just goes along and jokes around. Kishimoto also says they argue a lot.

 

Minato and Kushina again from little we see from the Ninja movie Kushina is the aggressive authority figure who sets the rule, while Minato goes along with as a sort of moderator.

 

And Kishimoto's own family life. His wife had to raise the kids and mange the house as he had to work all the time on Naruto. Of course he portrays his frustrations and guilt with this with nH due to not connecting with that pairing. But I do see if NS happen he would have went more hopeful and optimistic.

 

So, I see NS as Sakura running the household as the authority figure setting the rules while Naruto has to spend a lot of time running the village as Hokage. Naruto while busy I see him trying to make time a be there when he can and help out when he can. Granted I can't see Sakura letting the situation get as bad as Hinata let it get to by Boruto, and would address the situation if Naruto was neglecting their kids. Arguments/Conflicts happens and they are often resolved, but overall a loving family. The kids are hyper but well behave.

 

 

 let me add a bit to this i see the NS family as full of love and affection and very playful until its time to be serious than the gloves come off so to speak, Also the kids would be pranksters but not as a need to seek attention but a need to prove themselves,  Awww but mom dad once painted the 5 faces of hokage monument we had to one up him with all 7que exapserated sigh and nostalgic smile

That and the speech by Sakura after revealing apparently his true personality.

And said speech revealing ironically the worst about Sakura as well that she was aware he was using her and confirming she was using him too making both of them the worst

Beast tamer 8/10 kicked out of the heroes party Rein tames some powerful species to become a true hero. fairly classic tropes but still a lot of fun

An example of that for me is the Last of us 2 and it my primary criticism of the game. namely the ending. 

throughout the ending after joels death. we get ellie hunting down abby to the point where she walks away from her new family in search of vengeance. in the end she lets abby live but is maimed in the process and comes home to find her new family gone

so the message of the end is that vengeance is bad and leads to loss

but it doesnt. abby got ger vengeance and in the end lives and saves the kid shes with and sails away to a safe harbor

meanwhile Ellie loses everything but she DOESNT get her vengeance 

so vengeance pays off for abby

much as it did for Sasuke because of Narutos persistence and one good deed aka the saving of the world we never see the consequences of Sasukes decisions we never see the losses he suffers or the sacrifices he makes. he gets the girl gets to stay home as a hero and keeps the enormous near godlike powers he iobtained and the only loss he suffers is itachi his beloved big brother who was dead anyways at his hand like he wanted all along

Hell thats whats most vexing, Sakura actually subverts at least one tsundere trope in that she doesnt hit Naruto that much at all, 3-4 times max the entire manga. the anime is responsible for adding so many Sit boy moments to her character that she comes off as abusive when the reality is very different

Controversial as it may be I actually dont think Kakashi should have trained sakura. their skill sets are just too different. I do think he under trained her and should have provided her a teacher in the chunin exams kurenai would be a great choice to work her genjutsu a bit or one of the medic corp to aid her in becoming a more capable support and even laying a story foundation for her to want to learn more from Tsunade hell even a baseline bit of training from Guy in taijutsu would be a solid start

Still story wise I do think she wouldnt have benefited from Kakashis instruction as much as we might think she would have, Sakura story wise is someone who was forced to grow on her own  and push herslf via her own merits until she took to Tsunades teachings

I would have loved to see that actually. Obito going after Sakura and Naruto going berserk over it. Would have been a nice was to tie in them getting together.

Thats why the whole Pein event wasnt the boost to NH that everyone thought it was. 

Hinata was so irrelevant to the story that any of a number of people could have taken her place in that moment to similar or even greater emotional effect, Konohomaru, Iruka, Lee or especially Sakura, 

if Naruto had seen Sakura the person he was in love with at that time Stabbed like that so casually Hed have gone full nuclear probably skipped 7 and gone right to 9

Story wise id guess that the intent of the transfer is to basically how do I put this. its combines the two eyes into one super eye effectively wiping out the weakness of the individual eyes. and ppening access to the full power of the eyes

individually the sharingan while powerful cant handle the raw chakra needed to use all the speical powers the human eye can only take so much power flowing through it without damaging it

so the double mangekyo reinforces the eye to superhuman levels which allows it to channel chakra more easilly meaning theres no risk of blindness as the eye no longer deteriorates with each use

There is also a personality thing tio Kakashi favoring Sasuke, Kakashi said and it was well established that he and Sasuke are very much alike. again with the parallels prevalent throughout the story. 

Agreed they really did need at least an arc of essentially filler episodes that show Sasuke and Naruto growing as friends maybe even 1 or 2 flashbacks that show them becoming friends before the academy with the friendship becoming strained in the academy because of Sasuke getting all the praise and attention while naruto struggles to even be noticed acting out when he does which causes triouble

then post massacre with Sasuke basically wanting to be alone Naruto tries to reach him but is pushed away which naruto takes badly because he doesnt understand so the rivalry grows stronger espeically when Sakura enters the picture which creates the infamous triangle

I dont agree that it was last second theyd been building it up since the chunin exams Sasukes feelings of insecruity and superiority combined with his need for vengance then learning about itachi from orochimaru as well. Naruto being contrasted with him by his hard work and Jiraiya

there was plenty of foreshadowing of their conflict and build up to it all the way to the valley of the end. 

they diverged away from it with the whole indira ashura thing though i agree thats stacking mud on top of mud to make what you hope is a castle its not needed when you allready established the bricks at the bottom

be maybe more accurate to say that the plot became railroaded with the hunt for sasuke pushing all other things including character development aside for this one hyper obsessive goal. 

the quest to return and redeem sasuke should be a major plot point but it should have been so as part of the meta-arc which was redeem and reform the ninja system as a whole which was what had caused all the problems in the first place.

Its why i think Madara who was both emblematic of and a victim of the broken system should've been its final villain. Once he was defeated then you have Sasuke and Narutos final battle which is to decide how the future would go, Sasuke changing the world through fear of the shadows or Naruto bringing the world slowly but steadily into the light of hope

allowing Sasuke to become the Meta-arc forced the story and stunted the develpment of several characters all over this one broken kid who had some legit grievances but ended up being basically given a free pass in the end getting every powerup and the girl all in one go and all it cost him was an arm
