Well, I expected it to be bad, and it was.
The only good thing about this arc is that it's showing Naruto's growth much better than the rest of the time skip, with him being able to come up with good combat strategies that work. Having him be even in taijutsu with Kabuto was a nice touch, as well.
But speaking of Kabuto... man, this arc just raped his character all over the place. Since when can he revive dead people? That's Orochimaru's thing! And what is up with the evil laughing?! He doesn't do the villian laugh! That's another Orochimaru thing!
And those three guys finally being dead is nice to see. Seriously, why were they even in this? They added nothing.

yeah it was except for his sudden and inexplicable bout of sheer stupidity towards the end. I swear it drives me nuts when they do that.

On topic, I haven't watched the anime in a loooooong time -not that I ever watched alot of episodes-, so I can't comment on the filler, but I'm observing many people is pleading for the end of this arc and the beginning of the Uchiha arc.
Now I see it. The cartoon-makers decided making a boring, drawn-out filler arc so people didn't people about the incoming cluster of Uchiha-focused episodes. That was their plan all along!
But has it worked?

Because this is the 2nd to last Episode of the filler arc I watched it for the LULZ, and boy did I have some great laughs at the expense of Shizune (did that idiot actually think the sealing would work and look the same thing happened again the seal is broken and she, Sakura, Hinata and Ino are nearly killed in the process 
), Kabuto (as KungFuTruffle said he's made to look like a joke in this arc) and the filler Characters (thank god we'll never see them again). This filler arc couldn't end fast enough for me.

The only thing I liked about this episode was that Naruto made very good strategies when facing the Sanbi. Also he had the advantage when he fought Kabuto.
Thank God those 3 pathetic villains are long gone.

A filler arc that started out with such promise gone to complete crap towards the end.
Guren awesome villian and a perfect candidate to change thanks to Naruto. Shes stilla round Ill lay a bet and is the lone bright spot in this entire arc.
Yuukimaru poor kids stuck being used by morons. you dont use his power to agitate the the sanbi you seal the sanbi in the little spore and turn him into a jinchuriki. with his natural control of the beast hed be able to access its power with ease.
Kabuto as sleasy as they come, but in the end he went megalomaniacal and stupid.
the three filler villians I had no issue with them, they were their to die horribly and did so. as to the cursed seals I think they wer elimited versions which would have killed them in horrible ways before they were done so no worries there. in fact I use a similar scenario in in your arms (lightly mentioned)
poor Naruto again raised to heights of strength and maturity, only to have the floor pulled out from under him and be reduced to a drooling brainless idiot at the end. nothing unusal there.
I dont blame shizune for this one. She actually ahd the right idea I blame Kakashi and the others for not putting Yuukimaru under lockdown I SWEAR TO GAWD!! if you have a kid that can agitate a tailed beast (with his annoying voice not his power) that you knwo the bad guys are after
KEEP HIM THE FRACK WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES AND MAKE THEM COME TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously how the hell do they justify sending the kid off when you can bette rprotect him by being close to him for goodness sakes. The Sealing would ahve worked but both times Kabuto got the twerp to agitate the three tails and BAM they fail to seal him.

Obviously they weren't thinking, or else they would have been able to think up GOOD writing and this entire discussion would never have heppened, which it shouldn't have in the first place. However, something in their mind thought an annoying Sanbi controlling kid would be a great idea, which turned out to be 100% false.

Well Guren was a decent Villain, but yea, this arc has some failings all around.
But what do expect after the fillers of doom back in part one of naruto.... the occasional decent villain without the story to support them.

Obviously they weren't thinking, or they wouldn’t have had Shizune act like she did in this arc. I mean she acted like she didn’t know a god dang thing about sealing even thought she was taught by the Godaime hokage herself. What was their logical in not keeping the kid with you at all times?

Yea, this arc blew. No matter how interesting it may start off, most fillers just end up being crap. I haven't seen them all, but this holds true for at least the ones that I've seen. However, I'd rather watch horribly painful fillers for the very few and in between NaruSaku moments they throw in there (like the dream scene from the last filler arc where Naruto dreamed he was about to kiss Sakura) then not have any Naruto anime at all. It alleviates some of the boredom of waiting for the manga. And on the bright side, only one more episode of this crap filler!!
