You need to be an active member as well. I don't know if there's a specific post count, but you need to be around enough so that the rest of the board knows you.

But i've just hung around the forums a lot. I've always been into fanfiction and fanart and they have the best suggestions here.
It just sucks because I can't access all of it. How about this mods, you set me a number of posts, and i'll make that number (proper constructive posts too) and you give me access, deal?

I expect that the rest of this is going to be handled through PMs, but I don't think that's the way that it's supposed to work. It's not a reward for hitting a post count. Posting to get into the 18+ sections sounds like it's putting the cart before the horse.
But you might start by posting on a few threads - just to see if you like it. I started out lurking and wasn't really planning on posting much and ... well, you see how that turned out.

One of the ANBU or Kages will change the title and close it if they determine that it's settled.
