For those whom had loved back in the day coming home from school and turning on the TV to watch Cartoon Network, the fans of Toonami created an online video/chat streaming website of past shows of Toonami and Cartoon Network called "Toonami Aftermath".

It is free, no need to sign up (that's only if you want to chat) if you're just planning on watching shows like Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Rurouni Kenshin, Tenchi Muyo, Batman: TAS, Justice League, Gundam, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter, and many more! All of the shows' schedule follow similar to a TV channel lineup. Hell, DBZ Abridged is up there along with Feature Friday Movies.

Not the best reaction posting someone looking like they're barking over the original post.

@ Derock - It's a nice idea, even though it kind of loses some of its allure when you consider that all of these old school shows can now be watched on any number of streaming anime sites ^^

But the fact that you can chatroom chat with others while the episode is airing, and that the animes actually air like they are on tv is kind of neat =3

I think I'll watch Gundam Wing in about an hour when it airs, just for nostalgia sake. Thanks for the link, Derry happy.gif

lol hes not barfing... i think its meant as a compliment

internet effectively made toonami and the old adult swim obsolete but toonami was my only source for anime growing up, i remember getting home to see new episodes of dbz, when it was really popular. also how i saw ruroni kenshin, gundam, outlaw star, the list goes on. I think its good for the younger fans to see what it was like before you could pull up new episodes whenever you want on the internet

huh.gif Not sure how an image like that can be taken as a 'compliment' especially considering there is no statement/comment to go with the image. Best to actually say what you mean along with an image like that, to properly convey what you mean. Especially on the internet when what you mean can come into direct conflict with what you meant.

And Gundam Wing is now on. Nostalgia start...now happy.gif

Sounds cool! As old as I am sadly I wasn't into anime in that time. Too much school and all that back then. I am so bad the only thing I watched was Digimon. Heck I didn't even get into DBZ until High School. Which was 2001 and die hard fans say that is when it went down. It's all cool maybe I can see where today's anime coming from.

I've known about this for a few months now. Every weekend, 08th MS Team, heck yeah. If you turn in at the right time, you can even see me chatting it up in there.

Well, that was a few months ago, I don't go there anymore.

I only got into anime because of Toonami. That's where I first saw DBZ and Cowboy Bebop.

Edit - OMG, Tenchi Muyo is coming on now! Tenchi was the very FIRST fanfic series I ever wrote for on FFnet waaaaay back in the day lol.

And now Outlaw Star is on with Big O coming up after...I can't handle teh awesomesauceness of this blast from the past anime night! >.<

I used to live in Canada, but I will never, ever forget the very first time I watched Toonami. I was on a vacation with my folks and a friend to the U.S. and while we stopped by at a motel at midnight, I happened to turn on the tv and stumbled on Toonami (or specifically, GW). That day changed my life forever.
