I thought the episodes were rather hilarious actually. Maybe I'm just evil...

I thought it was interesting, the added scenes in Itachi's flashback were cool, but I was laughing sardonically... Teen Angst

Same with Sasuke's faces when Itachi was showing him the story of Uchiha Madara and Izuna, aaaah, the little blood splatter across his cheeks was priceless...

Itachi's Seiyuu did well with Nutzo, crazy, "You're my new light, Sasuke" Ita-kun. I'm glad, I was laughing my ass off, no joke!

Lastly... I was thinking of Deja Vu when Itachi kicked Sasuke into the wall... and the cliffhanger with Itachi supposedly plucking out Sasuke's eyes, and Sasuke screaming bloody murder?

The animation was really, really good too! Except maybe when they were throwing the shuriken at each other... I thought their arms looked kinda noodly at that point.

Despite all this... I think I'll cry finally when Itachi really does DIE.

The pace, animation, action, Hyper Emo Crazy Itachi ™ were all wonderfull. The anime team seems to have mastered the Adaptation Expansion - the little additions in the flashbacks are really good.

The only little complaint I have (like in the manga) is the whole pulling-out-eyes thing. Really:to do that with no medical equipment, in a completely unhygienic enviroment - I have no clue how they rewire the optic nerve. That's Naruto I guess.

I muist admit i was disapointed in this episodes i was looking for more action.

i mean basically a flash back episode and a talking episode

next week hopefully the action ramps up a bit.

Even though I don't like the arc, this was beautifully animated.

I can't wait to hear English "Crazy" Itachi! I was lulzing at the scene. And the omake, poor Yamato...

Uh, wow. Itachi's VA should never do crazy. He's worse than Dante. "Sasuke, you will fill my eyes with liiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!"

The super long flashback was annoying, since we've seen most of it before. The animation during the fights was pretty good, but it did get a little weird there during the shuriken barrage. Most arms have elbows, right?
