I also think he is a good character..reminds me of AnY fire tribe 2nd son.

No, just judging from the anime. He's funny XD Jun Fukuyama is doing a good job at voicing him. I'll pick up the manga sometime after season 1 :)

Yeah, I like Zen, Shirayuki, Mitsuhide, Kiki, and I'm on the ropes about Izana.

@trang, Raji appears infrequently throughout the manga.

How come you don't like Obi?
And yay XD He's the clown of the series for me (so far).

How come you don't like Obi?
And yay XD He's the clown of the series for me (so far).

One of the things that it takes for me to like a character is their interactions with others. In that way, Obi is really dull. There really aren't any characters that I feel he has a good interaction pattern with. Obi isn't really a deep character tbh.

Insightful episode. I love how Shirayuki understands or at least empathizes with Zen so well. Zen had a rough past, both physically (making your body immune to poisons) and socially.

 

How old is Mitsuhide :ohmy: ? I always assumed that he was Zen's age XD Oh, and will we get a flashback of how Kiki came to join Zen and Mitsuhide? I really love her!

I see.. Altho i on the contrary like his interactions with Zen and Shirayuki..

I wonder why you see it as dull.. maybe just personal preferences ?

imo he is supposed to be that way.. and it makes me want to know more about his past.

Man I've been falling back on the anime cause of a few personal life issues, but I'm able to squeeze in some time and confine where I left off. So I'm watching episode 6. I should have my reviews for episodes 6-8 shortly.

Obi x Shirayuki, yes?  :rainbowsheep: But I can't wait for Zen x Shirayuki to become an official couple as an animation.

 

Shirayuki as a brave woman is one of the reason why I like this series.

Shirayuki as a brave woman is one of the reason why I like this series.

I don't know what I think about Obi and Shirayuki... I kinda like them after this episode, but I still am a ZenYuki shipper :love:

 

I actually don't have any feelings for Shirayuki yet, she is brave and is a good medicine maker. But I wanna know her character more. Backstory and all that.

Finally found time to watch the episode...

For those of you who've seen the latest episode, here is my review there was no way I could've passed this one up:

 

 

I loved drunk Shirayuki XD.. Poor Zen T-T

 

I wonder how Studio Bones will end this season, I know season 2 will be out til January... But I'm still curious of how it will end.

Haha indeed. Cheesy but straightforward. Refreshing in a sense that they aren't dilly dallying so much and gets to the point lol.
