I don't see why his appearance would be microscopic at all. He's essentially already set as a new main character. His introduction was brief yet highly fan-loved/fangasmed over. His voice is Zuko which means multiple scenes/episodes with him essentially already set it stone. And also all Irosami fans would riot if he didn't have a major appearance 8D

Am I too late to jump on the Korra bandwagon?

Ok, I managed to watch the marathon on Nicktoons today... I missed only the first four episodes since I was starting on Episode 5, with the tournament, which was actually pretty cool. The action scenes were great and I loved the modern look, with car chases and stuff. The plot of Season 1 to the last episode was a bit iffy... and was rushed, both at the ending and in romance.

Korra and Malo got a great start... but it was rushed. I didn't expect the "I Love You!" lines follow by Korra regaining her Avatar abilities and then kiss moment with Malo. Too damn fast. I can at least expected them to kiss in the end of Season 2.

And then the Armond (can't spell his name) and the Equality movement plot. He was great as a villain but to be killed off at the end by his brother so they both can be dead, eh?! You have a plot going on because that scar after the mask came off was good setup for him to be the standard villain, yet he's killed off?

I think the endings should have been rechecked. But hey, it was a good season to start.

Um, no. It's an actual sequel or spin-off (depending on how you see it) to the Avatar: the Last Airbender series, but focusing on the next Avatar, Korra and her adventures in the post-war world.

Bryan K. has been posting Korra goodies every once in a while. most recently he posted a pic of them doing color correction for Book 2! I'm excited! Although who know's how long color correction comes before it being finished

Also they say they are working on the "Art of" book for season one which I am even more excited about. I bought the art of book for Avatar: The Last Airbender a long time ago and it really exceeded my expectations. The cover made it look dumb but when I got it in the mail it is chock full of awesome stuff with commentary from Bryan and Mike. In Uni I study "entrainment arts" which most often means I'm learning to do things like storyboarding, character and environment design, layout and color keying all for TV and movies. So the art book for the sereis was right up my alley.

So I was looking over the cast of Legend of Korra, and I had knew who the main three characters were but it never dawned on me that J.K. Simmons played Tenzin.

Now I can't get the thought out of my head of Tenzin saying "PARKER! Get me pictures of the Avatar!"

Haha! nice. J.K. Simmons is actually an awesome voice actor, he did a great job in Portal 2.

Speaking of parents, apparently Lin's father will be revealed, plus a sub airbending type like metalbending and bloodbending. Ugh, the last part is old news, but I'm just gonna read the search now.

^ sub-type for airbending huh? Well metalbending for earth and bloodbending for water makes sense but I can't think of anything for airbending. Any ideas?

It would be cool if it was something like an airbender could alter the sound waves traveling through the air. But it doesn't technically have to do anything with air. After all, sound waves travel through earth and water too.

Actually what would make most sense scientifically is lighting. Firebender's like Zuko have already laid claim to this but it makes more sense for airbenders. Lighting is caused by unbalanced atmospheric pressure and can occur when warm and cold air masses are mixed, which an airbender should be able to learn to do.
