I know what it is. It's because, mostly she was a threat to their precious NH ship. Naruto loved her through the entire manga and Sakura was showing some interest in Naruto. They weren't even on the map until Hinata's stupid confession. At that time, you could even argue that Hinata didn't have romantic feelings for Naruto; just that she idolized him so much and her being shy is why it was so extreme.

It's an extension of Sakura being a threat to their crap ship, but many never grew up. They could never get past the fact that Sakura used to be an immature brat that picked on Naruto. Even well into part 2, they would cling onto that for dear life. Alongside the fact that you know, she smacked him around. (Which was VERY rare in the canon manga compared to the filler anime) That doesn't help either. The fact that most of them were anime only fans. They didn't care for the manga or bother with it and thought the anime's filler (which obviously favored Hinata over Sakura most of the time) was as canon as the manga.
They refused to accept that Sakura had developed beautifully (until the ending of course) and cared about Naruto a ton. That she was no longer an immature brat. But they wanted her to still be one so they had an excuse as to why Hinata was better and why Naruto should move on to Hinata.
They clung so desperately to Sakura smacking him around as a reason why he should move on.

I have heard this argument a million times. They didn't care if Naruto never minded Sakura doing that. It didn't change his feelings for her one bit. If anything, at the beginning of part 2, he hinted that he purposefully brought it upon himself. After Sakura punched the ground and it basically exploded, both scaring Kakashi and Naruto, Naruto thought to himself that he should "stop messing with her so much or she'd end up killing him with that strength."
And no, messing around =/= his feelings for her. They were still there, obviously as we were shown throughout part 2.

 

^ Very much this. And as I've stated many times, that stems from the fact that Sakura DIDN'T love Naruto from the beginning like Hinata did. That is where all the double standards root from. Really, their prime de facto argument for the entire NH ship is, "Hinata loved Naruto from the beginning". Which begs the question, that if Sakura also did, would she get nearly as much hate and Hinata nearly as much love as they do now? I can't help but think that because of again the double standards here.  Think about it. Usually, tsunderes similar to Sakura (and do note there are MANY with more over the top traits than her) are far more tolerated, and shy side characters like Hinata aren't so dogmatically worshiped the way she is. I'm not gonna go on another rant on this subject since I've beaten to it death over and over again but I'm just saying, that if Sakura and Hinata fell into more traditional and stereotypical portrayals of their character archetypes (ironic, I know) they would probably have less hate and love respectively. That's what I think at least 

 

Then you got such fans like SP making entire extra omake endings of episodes around her saying, "Naruto-kun!".

Just because a zetsu one shots a ten tails powered Madara and she is based off an old Japanese folk lore DOES NOT make her a good villain. This loonie more than possibly just has a hard-on for Kaguya just like Hinata fanatics I didn't find her engaging, and having her give Naruto a FAIR FIGHT does not change my stance on the matter. This is the alien princess that was made because Kishi admitted back then he made Madara too OP and could not think of a way to defeat him. "Just make an even more OP, ineffectual and nonsensical villain!" he says.

I know it gets old when I compare Kingdom Hearts to Naruto but Namine is a shy young girl like Hinata is. The difference is even though Namine messed up Sora's memories, she redeemed herself and got better character development.

Here is a discussion I want to bring.
I talk to people and see a lot of videos of the "good things" about Naruto, but at the end of the day no amount of "good things" erases the biggest black mark in Naruto. People focused more on the pairings than the actual story. People focused MORE on the love affairs to something they claim is "NOT a romance manga." I see this time and time again.

NH fans and proenders now all of a sudden care about the story and elements  in it and point out the good and the bad...well, isn't that just peachy? We cared about the story since page 1, they cared about Hinata's love affair. We cared about Naruto and his struggles; they cared about  whether or not Hinata will be noticed. We cared about characters getting their due diligence; they cared about Hinata getting her rocks knocked off.

Now that NH is canon...now that they have nothing to lose...they care about the story all of a sudden. My how convenient now.

It is so stupid and it is the biggest joke I have heard way too many times now. When someone has nothing to lose, NOW they want to talk about everything else. Now they want to talk about how Kaguya didn't make sense. Now they want to talk about how the war was a jumbled mess.

We have been talking about it.

Worse still, we CAN'T talk about how messed up NH and SS is because then the proenders accuse US of being "salty about pairing fans." Doesn't matter how correct we are or how right we are because now they want to talk about the rest of the story that we have BEEN talking about and when we focus on the pairings because that's all they focused on...they want to be like "God, there is so much good in the story. Why do you have to focus on pairings? It is not a romance manga." I can't do it anymore. I can't look at anything good in the series and even now we are still have arguments of "who the best girl in the series is: Sakura or Hinata" even though at this point they are both pretty trash.

All the bad parts of the series involve the parings for the most part, but they don't want to talk about this. Excuse after excuse.

I see non-stop character popularity poles involving all the females and they all come down to the same thing "Sakura vs Hinata." Not even one other female character gets more popular. Not Temari, not Ten Ten, no other female character. Does anyone ever stop to ask why that is? I know why...because as much as people may excuse their behaviors....all they cared about is the pairings.

No wonder Kishimoto just stopped caring. If I tried so hard to write a story and all people cared about was how wet the panties are of two female characters....I would have given up too. Okay, maybe not, but I would definitely told the fandom that I am doing what I wanted and they have no recourse on what I want to do. They want to make non-canon romance movies? Go for it, but they are NOT making a canon story without my permission. Especially when they demand me to give them what they want.

And there's also the fact too that Kishimoto had to deal with his dad's death on top of his just being like "That's it! I'm done!" when it came down to pairing wars and crap like that. Too many shows can tend to devolve like that, or just make it feel like something in shipping is the most important thing that it basically is the catch all of a series, and if you got issues with the show itself and not even just the shipping even if it can be part of it, you're just a terrible person.

Everything Obito did was for love, at the begin of the story Kishimoto puts a loves triangle, after that he shows us how Jiraiya didn't get Tsunade. The romance was what move all story.
About Kishimoto there are a lots of clues that that we can take Kishimoto saying till this point forward I don't have idea of what I'm doing and don't care anymore. He always said he doesn't knows how to write love, but dude you wrote a lot of couples in a very good way (Kushina and Minato, Shikamaru and Temarie for example). I really hate when the pro enders say we don't have to compare Boruto and Naruto, but man Boruto is the continuation of 4th most saled manga in Shonen Jump's history.

...Well I'm not sure are that in love with the lining of their clothes. Even if it has their favorite pairing on it.

 

I wouldn't be surprise if Shueshia had an event for the wedding and that the nH fans celebrated it, but it being a huge event. I would doubt. From what I recall the novel about the wedding sold poorly because it had the "Pairing of Death" as its called in Japan after the ending. And the anime made their ending the Hinata's wedding.
