Kishi is troubled by Sakura’s popularity among the readers. While he was drawing covers, it was easy drawing naruto and sasuke, but for sakura kishi have to spend more time re-drawing and adjusting, worrying that he might draw her ugly. sakura’s family is not revealed because of popularity reasons, but hinata with low number of appearances were consistently popular with the readers, kishi once had the idea to change hinata to the heroine.

imo the Hinata being the heroine was SP's ideas, and since EVERYONE IS kittening AWARE OF THAT, they told Kishimoto to say those things like it was his ideas.

 

Kishi is SP's puppet now, he has to clean all the kitten they have done.

Well there was that one scene of Lee training with Guy lying exhausted on the ground and Tenten watching Lee with her head in her hands, grinning admiringly with blush in her cheeks. It's minor, but the groundwork for a possible attraction on Tenten's part was laid.


I wholeheartedly agree with you. To hell with the people trying to whitewash this filth of a movie. Kishi and Pierrot need to be held accountable for stringing us along with deception and lies.

Don't purchase anything relating to Naruto if you don't already have it. You shouldn't be giving any more profit to these people. Anything you do have, either sell it or burn it.

 

You are right, this movie is an embarrassment for the whole franchise and should be erased from collective memory.

Yes Yes I know! But I find myself in need of a Naruto-related bonfire...but none of my friends know what Naruto is so I can't borrow anything from them. Bummer. I guess I'll vent my frustration in other ways. God what a worm of a man.

It was never stated that they had a kid together. We only see Lee training with his son. Tenten is placed in another separated panel.

The bad thing about these interviews is that no one asks Kishimoto what happened to Naruto's goals? What happened to liking Sakura. How did Sasuke come to love her instead? No one addresses the big elephant in the middle of the room. The interviews are probably vetted by the media company that owns Naruto (Shueisha, I think it is?), but at some point in the future, Kishimoto is going to have to address questions about why he dropped the main character's goals. Only then will we get real answers.

 

Of course. These aren't interviews. They are fluff pieces.

 

Really, any real interview would be over in five seconds as one need merely show Kishimoto any particular page in a number of chapters and ask what he meant by it. Yamato's line in 297 is a good example. Sakura blushing about Naruto during the Zabuza is a good example. Sai pointing out that Sakura causes Naruto pain is a good example

He probably meant overall. in the 2009 interview he did mention how fans kept bugging him to have Hinata replace Sakura. My guess is he must got a kittenton of western fanmail involving Hinata (which would also explain why he said Sakura was disliked even though she's popular in Japan because for whatever reason people here hate Sakura unless she acts submissive like she does with Sasuke)

I am the only NS shipper out of all of my friends that read Naruto, but to be fair most are just boob loving males who don't give a kitten about story, if it looks cool than it's cool to them
The only friend who didn't give a kitten about pairings was already pissed off with Kishi because of other things in the manga, I haven't talked to him since June about Naruto but my guess is that he's done with Naruro completely after 699 and 700
