+18 section question? [Resolved] Options

I heard there was a 18 + section for "mature pictures" of NS/etc. I may of misunderstood like I usually do.. But i hear it was a private board for 18+

What if someone was mature for their age would they be allowed into that section?

... If there even is a section at all.



I saw a post like it in some old posts I was stalking in the Favorite NS photos thread.


I'd like to point out that I don't know if it's just a 18+ content section, or if you really do have to be eighteen to access it. If it's just 18 content, for everyone with admin permission, then I'd like to know if I'd be able to access it, too?

I feel like I might be too uncomfortable for seeing the context of it, so yes, if its possible, can one of you guys just take me off that list?

To answer this question:

I'm the type of person who had watched 18+ material at age 10-11 (true fact, I even got in trouble of buying PPV of porn, bad mistake but anyways). The reason why because I became a bit curious (scratch that, too much will be a better phrase).

Now, can someone younger than 18 who is very mature for his/her age can access the Hentai/Porn section?

My answer: wait until you're at that age. The reason why is because we don't want any trouble if any of the members that are younger than the age of 18 have their parents suddenly starts to have a hissyfit and try to be involved to get rid of the stuff/forum which led to more issues and drama. We already had that in the past but in a different situation.

Sorry to unlock, but I have something I'd like to add.

All jurisdictions within the United States prohibit the viewing of porn to those under 18 and in some cases 21. You as someone under 18 could not go to a porn store and be sold such material. Facilities caught doing that would be shut down. No amount of maturity changes this. If we gave you access we would, in effect, be doing the same thing.

Second, I notice Kim offering to post images for you to an area you do not have access. I can only speak for myself, but both of you should discontinue doing so.

Given the amount of trouble we can get into for making such things available to minors, I do not want to even give the mere appearance that those underage have access or are involved in those threads.

While not a direct bypass (because you don't get access), I do not like it when people try to skirt rules we have put in place. They are there for a reason. You two may be kidding, but this is an issue I do not like to screw around with.

Smiter has put a lot of time and capital into this site. We will not jeopordize it by giving access to those who are underage.
