I bet they were procreating seeing as Sasuke was the only Uchiha child in existence at that time. Can't ruin Good Itachi™ after all.

Everything. Everything the manga has set up has been abandoned. The only thing that was touched upon was Sasuke's redemption.

But even that was a retcon if you think about it. He does all these evil things, and he just touches Sakura's forehead and years of crime is forgiven. It's not just a retcon, it's a retconright before our eyes.

Now that I really think about it... who raised Naruto till he was old enough to live on his own? Seems like a kitten move to just raise him only to abandon him because he can do stuff on his own now. And also, how did everyone know he was the host of the Nine Tails? Did the 3rd Hokage just come out and tell them all without thinking of the consequences?

And this was only his back story... the epilogue has it's own problems, specifically why did Naruto have to learn his Dad's technique in peace time?

The biggest problem of the epilogue is that Naruto doesn't need to exist. We don't need ninjas and we don't need hidden villages anymore. And yet, he's busy doing a useless job and an unnecessary five Kage meeting. Dream come true? Not really.

Yeah, here's the thing, Nate; I often wondered if Kakashi wasn't putting on airs about disliking Naruto, considering I imagine as guilt-driven as he is, he would be bothered to see Naruto at times since he'd be reminded of his sensei being gone. I wish it got explored more, since it would have been very cool to see that aspect as another reason besides seeing more of himself in Sasuke that Kakashi kind of shoved Naruto off on others.

The biggest problem of the epilogue is that Naruto doesn't need to exist. We don't need ninjas and we don't need hidden villages anymore. And yet, he's busy doing a useless job and an unnecessary five Kage meeting. Dream come true? Not really.

How would we know though? Are they truly at peace?

- What did Madara do all those years inbetween, surely his entire plan did not consist of waiting for Negato to grow up.

- The downfall of Uzumaki, (I had a theory that the Uzumaki clan were destroyed because they were protecting the ten tails and it was Madara who under the disguise of being the kage ordered the masacre. and reading the spoilers for the enemy in the movie actually makes me think I was correct, but now that history has been given to the new enemies clan.)

- What happened to Naruto and all the advice his mother gave him, he's eating Cup Ramen more than ever, Ciadra (sp?) pointed out yester he had a Sake bottle on his desk, so he's drinking at work as well.

- Why is Sasuke still wondering around, he was pardoned for his crimes, he has no reason to still be a travelling saleman 20 odd years later.

- Why is Naruto that busy anyway? The entire epilogue highlighted how the need for Ninja's is not as important, yet for some reason Naruto even with the help of advanced tech still doesn't have time to spend with his family. Yet Tsunade at the peak of niija conflict was able to train Sakura, run the hospital and the entire village, and Hiruzen had time to train a Genin team to become legends.

- When did Sakura actually fall in love with Sasuke? The early chapter made it clear it was nothing more than a huge crush, when did that change? Or is Kishi genuinely trying to tell us every girl in Sasuke's class were in love with him?

- Matter of fact when did Sasuke fall in love with her.

- What made Naruto the child of prophesy? That one moment when he managed to motivate the five nations? Are we really meant to beleive, Jiraiya's entire life was set out for him so his death could teach Naruto the meaning of loss?

- Has peace really been achieved? The Epilogue kinda made it seem that the people were stuck in limbo, almost waiting for something to happen.

- What was 'That Jutsu' that was mentioned a couple of times?

- Why did Tsunade refuse to use the Thunder God Technique, saying she'll leave it to him, yet he in question never used it?

- What happened to the Senju Clan? Did they all just decide not to have kids or something?

- Where did all the Saratobi Clan come from? One second there were only three members and uddenly the entire clan poped up during the war, where were they during the first and second invasion?

Yup, he is now basically a big city mayor. His warrior status doesn't matter in an age where there is no war. He's basically an Edo Period samurai bureaucrat. Lots of respect and all, but he isn't doing anything really.

Why is Konoha shown as a modern city, while Sasuke is walking around like he jsut left the set of LotR? If they've got computers and highrises, don't you think they have cars?

 

What happened to the jutsu Naruto used against Kakuzu, the one that Sakura told him never to use again because it could damage him on a cellular level. 

 

What was Sai's background? Is he a lost Uchiha?

The recent databook said Madara killed all the Senju. Must have been revenge against Hashirama in a sense.

Here's one; did Madara take Izuna's Sharingan as he was dying from the wound from Tobirama, or did Izuna willingly give him his Sharingan?

The Senju clan really is surprising. Since essentially they were about the same strength of the Uchiha at least up to the time of Tsnuade's young adult years. A couple decades later, the Uchiha clan has their own "little Uchihatown" part of town, well the Senju clan just doesn't exist except for in the bloodline of one woman. That's a huge oversight.
