My Dad did something on his laptop that made the Taskbar disappear.
Not auto-hide, disappear.
I can't even access Start (even when using windows button or ctrl+esc). I can't open some of the stuff on Control Panel. j

LOL that stinks but mostly LOL @ YOUR POPS.
quick googleling:
- open up task manager
- New Task (Run...)
- either "explorer" or "cmd"
if they don't work, try running a system file checker, ses here that you (or in your case, your dad removed lolol) your windows shell.
- start, run, type in SFC or SFC/scannow
but since your internet's working I bet you've already done all these. if so, G'LUCK JOHAM. XDDD
...your dad bwahhaha.

I actually haven't tried that until you posted it. Thanks for the advice, krisk!
Unfortunately, it didn't fix it. I went on safe mode, and it shows... so there's something my dad did wrong... or it's a virus.

maybe your dad accidently drag it all the was down the screen? try putting your mouse all the way down the screen, if it change to show the double arrow that means the taskbar still there, you just need to drag it back up. if that doesn't work either then go to task manager, look for explorer.exe in the process manu, end task and then run explorer.exe once again. if that still doesn't fix it, I dunno what else you can do other than take it to the repair shop
