The cables for my headphones have become warped and twisted. This happened because they were wrapped too tightly around my mp3 player for too long.

I heard that you can put the cables in boiling water to straiten them out. Is this true? Will it damage the electrical components?
I have looked for information regarding this on the internet, but I couldn't find any answers.

Lol i never herd such a thing before.

I would advise not doing it if there a real expencive set.

If there a cheap set try it and see what happens.
