https://bato.to/foru...ng-permanently/

Bato.to for anyone wondering is a manga hosting site, however unlike other sites they shared their advertisement revenue with the scanalation groups and because of that it was the preferred platform many groups to host their translation on. Atleast that was the premise, I'm not sure if that changed over the past 7 years.

For that reason it has been my preferred site to go to to read manga, (except the popular ones as they also complied with DMCA takedowns so popular managa's like One Piece, Naruto, etc were no hosted their.

So now I'm pretty much stuck as the site that I read 90% of the manga's is shutting down, so do you guys have any recommendation? Did anyone else use bato.to for their manga fix or do you guys use another site?

Same here, I was going to leap for joy and just post a comment saying Oh happy day, without reading the full article...clearly this was not a happy day, and a sucky way to start 2018.

I guess it just goes to show how little I think Burrito that despite visiting bato.to for years, I've never realised Boruto and Batoto look so similar.

Back to the topic on hand though, quite a few of the smaller scan groups are worried about where they will host their translations, many don't have their own website, and the big manga host sites don't operate like Bato.to allowing for shared revenue, and many don't even ask permission from them, they just use bots to pretty much take the manga uploaded from various sources and host it on their website without permission, (allot of times from Bato.to), so don't be surprised if the odd manga you read regularly on other sites don't get uploaded to your website of choice.
