Yes, but the book explained Voldemort's death so it made sense. In the movie, it was like he simply wasn't as invincible as we thought.

Speaking of power here`s something that bugs me. What defines a wizards power level? There doesn`t seem to be a mana system, since they don`t get tired while casting, most spells aren`t ranked by a power level (expept the "kitten you" superspells that dumbledor and voldemort use). So is the power in the wand like it was sudgested? But since the wand chooses the wizard doesn`t that mean that you are born with the power you will ever have? I never really understood that part. Also y u no argue, moral values no more?

I think you hit the nail on the head you are born with whatever ability of magic you will end with in later life hence the existence of Squibs who have wizarding background but lack the ability to use magic and muggleborns who are muggles who have through birth acquired the ability to use magic perhaps it is genetic in nature or genetics influenced by magic lol.

 

The wand choosing the wizard is just a reflection of that inner ability one is born with

 

to that end though you could be extremely powerful but if you lack the basic training it would do you no good.

same here, i was puzzled on how can someone be named or given a title of the greatest wizard...i thought it was all about the wand since there exist an elder wand that cannot be defeated.?.

Well didn't Dumblebore beat the second most feared dark wizard when he had the elder wand, so does that show that the legends about it not be completely true?

Honestly I`m more interested wheather or not the Deathly Hallows were actually made by death itself (that would so hardcore)

Well unless J.K does a prequel about it we may never know. I think Dumbledore believes that the older brother was a great wand maker.
