Hello!
This poll is to find out who here in HxE supports what rifle. The two mentioned in this topic are one of the few rifles to maintain a rivalry in the discussion of firearms. Please choose, support, and explain your claims as to why your choice is better than the other. Your first choice is the AK-47, or for that, any rifle designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov in the AK platform. The other choice is the AR-15(most commonly referred to as the M-16, which is the military version). This choice also includes the carbine versions(CAR, M4)

If you don't know anything about weapons, I recommend doing some research (sounds boring, but trust me, you'll find it interesting) and then come back with a verdict.

Ultimate Warrior did a comparison of the two guns. AK won out every time.

Dude its a simple question and yes people do collect guns... just like I collect swords. Doesnt make people killers.

AK-47 can be jammed pack full of mud and still work and is easier to take apart out in the field. M-16 is the more accurate shooter though.

Anyway I've only used the m16 before and its quite stable. So in regards to accuracy m16 would win.

I don't know enough about firearms to say, but I've heard stories about how potent the old BAR's (Browning Automatic Rifle) were.

AK is a great rifle, shot a couple them.. But a lot of guns are built off the AR frame and there are so many components made just for them. Plus, the AK is mostly meant to shoot one type of caliber, 7.62. While AR based originally too shoot 5.56, can be refitted to shoot other calibers alot easier. And I like how the AR feels while shooting.

I may not be a mod, but for safety measures I would like to ask you (Dragunov) what are your objectives for this thread?? And I want to be sure you can be held accountable for this thread. Because I honestly do not want us finding out that you have less than honorable intentions for the future. Or worse, NH fans calling us all murderers because of one member destroying our reputation (if you actually had less than honorable intentions).

Nate should've done this considering he's our legal expert, but I'll do the honors.

Do you hereby swear that you have absolutely no intentions of anything that may cause severe consequences??

Or perhaps we can just stop be so overly sensitive about every little thing people post in here? We are talking about guns that we like. Guns kill people? yes, they do. Are we talking about killing people with guns? No, we are not.

On-topic, I think both rifles have their pro's in combat and both are more efficient than the other in their own ways.

there are apropriatte places to discuss other things a lot of of people here are wrong there a lot of underage people in this forum do they will come here and see AR15 is BETTER THAN AK47
