I wouldn't say the pairing's behind us... (Sp recently released a acrylic of sakura confessing to naruto) Yes some people watch boruto but many people don't like the sequel series much like people don't like the new star wars... Will disney do something to make amends for their actions? It might be unlikely. Or look at the way ash's story in pokemon ended. Many things not addressed and ash never even meets his dad. But it doesn't matter enough it seems. I still wouldn't claim all of ash's fans put the series behind them. Sakura was also a lot higher than hinata in the recent poll (higher than naruto and sasuke even). Sakura vs chiyo also won the fight poll as well.... Kishimoto was likely copying the love triangle in dragon quest: the adventure of dai but probably didn't do a great job but even so i don't think sakura was hated to a huge extent. There are youtubers nowadays who openly say sakura and naruto should've been together so at least some fans know it should've happened

I think that the love triangle in Naruto resembles more the one in Slam Dunk, but without the sensational declaration from the protagonist.

This ending will only change if the author wants, but it seems that he no longer cares about his work and just wants to rest while it makes money for him.

Battle  shounen anime don't translate well into live action if you follow the original storyline. For example, if you attempt a live action adaptation of Dragon Ball sticking to the manga's plot, it would feel odd and likely fail. It would be better if they focused on the stories of Master Roshi or Grandpa Gohan, mirroring Bruce Lee's films. In Naruto, they would need to choose a ninja who doesn't seem out of place in live action for adaptation, but the title of the work complicates this. I have the feeling that the same will happen with Naruto as it did with Saint Seiya in Latin countries. It was very popular for decades but lost ground to Dragon Ball. In Naruto's case, it will be to One Piece

This hug from Sarada to Boruto, if BoruSara happens, will be similar to Sakura's hug to Sasuke with Naruto watching. However, if it's BoruSumi, it will be akin to Sakura's hug to Naruto with Hinata watching after the fight against Pain...

Worse is that they are incorporating various elements of NaruSaku into BoruSara... At the beginning of Boruto, I thought they would make BoruSara a heterosexual version of NaruSasu

I was watching videos of Minato and Kushina on TikTok, and I always see someone saying they are the best couple in the series and that their relationship is similar to Sakura and Naruto's. It seems like a good portion of the Naruto fandom regrets the final couples and their dynamics. :chuckle:  :chuckle:  :chuckle:  :chuckle:

I was rewatching Naruto when I came across a speech by Itachi, in which he says that Sasuke is like a blank canvas and that the right person can influence him. I started thinking that Sasuke represents Masashi Kishimoto as a mangaka, and Naruto is his dream of being a mangaka. Itachi could be his editor, Kosuke Yahagi, who guided him towards success, but at one point left him. Sakura symbolizes his wife, who had a difficult relationship with him as a mangaka (Sasuke) and a great relationship when he dreamed of being a mangaka (Naruto). In the end, he showed his frustration with the mangaka life by using Naruto as Hokage, who is busy with bureaucratic work and away from his family
