It was filler. Well, it was filler involving Suigetsu anyway, and finding Zabuza's sword which apparently wasn't there.

On the bright side, Suigetsu made me laugh at the show like I haven't in a while... his characterization was

cool. Karin next, huh. Mystery solved, I've been wondering how her name was pronounced for just about eons...

Lawl, in the preview for 116 Karin was licking her lips very ominously

what could it mean?

I found the animation to be a bit subpar as well at points, but overall it was way better than some of the stuff the last filler arc was pumping out.

I did find Suigetsu to be pretty amusing though. The scene with Sasuke, Suigetsu and the guy who took Zabuza's sword was particularly hysterical. The guy was a stuttering mess and Suigetsu's playing it all diabolically amused and casual while Sasuke managed to hold practically the same expression the entire episode.

Good episode, I thought. Suigetsu is charmingly evil.

I just wanted to see a more ticked off Sasuke when he saw the name of the bridge... but that's my only gripe.

Anyways, the episode was pretty funny even though it was semi filler. GAHHH Karin, she's so.. retarded.

This episode was pretty good, I just love suigetsu, he was soo amusing.
Lol, I know what you mean xabsol, I don't think those Fan girls will ever learn.
What Suigetsu said - you're quite a laddies man. (or something along those lines)

This was a good episode.

This is the kind of filler that I like: Stuff that expands on the canon. In this case, they gave more attention to Sasuke & Suigetsu and the kind of relationship they have, which was just barely touched upon in the manga. And there were a few amusing parts as well; Suigetsu cheerfully eating yogurt being my favorite. ^^
